A beautiful makeup...wonderfully seamless...I'm guessing that a violent sneeze would be bad...just goes to show that you don't need foam latex or silicone for a great appliance...
very nice application, the only thing is the difference in color in the forehead area. on the baldcap is mat on the gelatine prost. is more brigth! it's a great job anyway!
nice app' dudes! simple piece that has great character, versatillity & practical flexibillity in the sculpt itself. fun to see the old spirit gum getting used, miss that smell lol. reminds me of those great peices on babylon 5 by optic nerve.
The adhesive is called Spirit Gum. You can get it at any FX store. I use FX warehouse. I was also wondering what was used on the eyebrows. I wouldn't imagine using any kind of adhesive on hair.
@Tahlorn gelatine tends to dissolve with sweat and heat. if you're looking for longevity, id go foam latex - its breathable and can withstand sweat and heat and the models skin can move freely like it does with gelatin.
great job!! but yeah, the first thing that comes to mind, can she breathe in it? i know she can breathe with her mouth but one exhales the air with nose anyway, wouldn't that dissolve the spirit gum or gelatine when it gets humid under the prosthetics?
this is asilly question i know... but... then she can't really breathe through her nose right???? this is really amazing.... i'm gonna look trhough ur videos and see if you have one of putting a bald cap on someone with longer hair!
Any idea on how Gelatin as a prosthetic would hold up over time? For a facial prosthetic, there would be concern of heat and sweat. Does that hold up in conditions, or would it just melt off in a hot mess? Is it just meant for quick shots and only worn for an hour at most? Stage lights would seem to be an issue.
@viciousKev The Condom thing is a bald cap the glue was spirt gum and the appliance on the nose was made out of gelatin you can get it at any theater makeup store or if you live in new york there is a store called alcone you can google it they have a website and you can order it online none of this stuff is expensive I get all my stuff from alcone and If you need any help on anything else just message me and I can answer most if not all of your questions now bye i am running out of characters
@sonyabazonya i'm pretty shore thats a bald cap.But I've never seen one like that before! But you can ether find them cheep online or at a costume shop, or you can make one with liquid latex and a Fake head.
This looks great. I have to ask though, is there any information on how to make a prosthetic nose like the one here? I'm really interested in making something similar for an anime cosplay.
Help?! I am making foamed gelatin prosthetics for Halloween but the paint on the prosthetic and my skin are coming out different shades. I powdered and final sealed my face, but the prosthetic is a much brighter green than my skin. Any tips?
I'm curious what do you call the prosthetic that you're using for the nosepiece? I've been looking for something like this for a while now for a cosplay of fish humanoid character and this would be perfect, the little touches do matter for what I'm trying to accomplish, is there a way that I can buy it?
I always wanted to do this kind of work, back in the 80th. There was no training outside of the film making studio's. Stil love to see it being done!
SHE LOOKS GREAT WITH OR WITHOUT THE MASK!!!! AND HER EYES.......WOW!!!!!
This is such a fantastic, polished job.
very nice application vid, nice stencil for the spots. great work well done

For those who have asked, the song is "Vendu" by KaPadNoMs
Love it, i want to learn this... hopefully soon!
@PierceFitzgerald it would've been spirit gum, which is an adhesive
That is amazing . . . can you list the tools you used along with like a step by step method. . ?
Very creative
Thank you Rosaria 😊
I might be the only one, but she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my entire life ever of all time.

This looks great. I have to ask though, is there any information on how to make a prosthetic nose like the one here? I'm really interested in making something similar for an anime cosplay.

Very good!
Where can I buy a fake bald? (you cut it, wanted to know where I can find that size) I live in Brazil.
Sweet video Jade! Out of curiosity: what production was this for?
This girl should always be bald, because is much more beautiful ;)
Great character and application.
Oh yea, the piece over the head is called a Rubber Bald Cap. You can also make one with latex, but it's time consuming.
Is there a website where I can find out stuff like what kind of glue to use and what's that condom thing and where to get it?
Did you make that prosthetic piece or buy it? It's beautiful, and I'm looking for something similar.
is it a breathable material, cause what does she do when her mouth is closed?
it's awesome but the colors on the nose don't match the rest of the face/head
wow amazing!
the prosthetic mold that you made to cover the nose. what was it made of?
No, once the prosthetic is applied the wearer has approximately 45 seconds before asphyxiation sets in, it is then followed by death. And then cake.
Where can I purchase this appliance? also, what sort of bald cap is that?
what is that mask made of? this weird cap that they put on first?
where did you get the material to put over the hair??
If she sneezes, it's all over!
that was awesome
Help?! I am making foamed gelatin prosthetics for Halloween but the paint on the prosthetic and my skin are coming out different shades. I powdered and final sealed my face, but the prosthetic is a much brighter green than my skin. Any tips?
Hi Jadefxhun what material you used on the head to cover hair
Mr Gaal - this is a wonderful piece!!
Was it sculpted specifically for the lady wearing it?
Also, do you sell these pieces/moulds?
+Faith Johnston
Thanks!
There are also pieces for sale. Here inquire pls: jfxworkshop@gmail.com
Is the prosthetic pliable for her to breathe through the nose?
May i ask you the list of all the materials u have used for this tutorial? what kind of latex is that? how have you been working on it? THANK'S!!! :)
YOU ARE GREAT!!!!!!!!!
This video is such a great inspiration. I cannot wait to do this kind of make-up!.... If I only had a girlfriend. lol

How long did it take to make this (prep and actual appliance)? It's beautiful!!

Hi! The prosthetic that you applied, did you sculpted in her lifecast? Or I can do it in another lifecast ?
Are there any of these available?
whats the song/music?
What happens if she needs to sneeze?
Nice
I'm curious what do you call the prosthetic that you're using for the nosepiece?
