So pretty in your cottage garden. That’s my favorite area with the pallet walkways. Added to my list for next year. Didn’t realize these were perennials and grown from a plant instead of a bulb. I plan to let them naturalize. Won’t that be glorious. Love these every time I see them in your garden. Thanks much for focusing on them.
I’ve been watching long enough to tell the difference between Russel and Cheddar and that was Cheddar. Plus I’m a crazed cat person😂 thank you Laura and Aaron
The best thing to do is give the seeds to friends and neighbours - share the love. That's how I got my spring blooming aliums. Great video Laura. My fav garden are the ones around the coop and the wooden pathway.
This is a nice surprise ! Ready for bed , nice to watch beautiful things before night prayers 😇 . These are gorgeous ! I like these better than spring ones.
Hi Laura, thank you so your show such enjoyable also I learn a few ideas from you especially tonight I never seen this Serendipity Allium until now 🌹♥️🤗
Yay! A video for us 3rd shifters! I really need to get these alliums and let them spread all around my bushes that the darn voles like to munch on! I've heard they don't like them. That is really neat that they're not bulbs... never knew that! Thanks!
This was super helpful. I didn’t know the difference between these and alliums for bloom time. Or that these could spread. I love these more in depth information videos about specific plants. It really helps me to learn and the knowledge sticks with me more than if I read a plant tag or information online.
Awesome! I need that plant-type of allium for summer blooming in my side garden which has a lot of spring flowers, but not much for summer. Also, shout out to Cheddar for gracing us with his presence before nap time. 😘🐈 "Do you need to go lay an egg?" Need to remember that for kiddos that are potty training or need "chill-out space" for their grumpy times. 🥚🤔 LOL! Have a great weekend! Christine in forest fire-ville CO 🔥🌲🔥 All my best to the Hot Shots fire fighters. We appreciate you!
Laura! You are a young girl! I admire your talent and hard work! Your creations are beautiful !!! I took a lot of ideas for myself !!!! I wish you creative inspiration, best wishes to you and your family !!! It's so good that a few years ago I saw you on TH-cam !!!
Planted 6 of these in the quart size this spring and they are flowering like crazy. Loving the grassy, blue, upright foliage. I have a very formal, patterned garden so I'll be deadheading - thanks for that tip!
@@ltt8441 yes they do. Unlike bulb alliums which produce one large stem and flower, these remain short and produce several. This year each plant has 5-10 flowers, I'm sure that will increase as they mature and get more established.
I love the allium. The color is purple in the shade and such a pink tint in the full sun. Your chicken coop area is one of my favorites. Gorgeous. Have a great weekend. God bless. 👏🏻💕👏🏻
I saw these in my local nursery today and thought Of you and your cottage garden. I’ve always wanted to have a formal garden but I find more and more as I smash together all of my favorite plants, it’s very cottage like 😂 I love that I was able to see how these bloom for you before taking the plunge
My husband and I took a little trip for our anniversary, and these were planted at a place we went to! I got so excited because I've only ever had the bigger ones. Took a hot minute to Google and find the correct name haha. Thanks for this video!!
I used to plant in my garden the white bottoms of store-bought spring onions after I’d eaten the green tops. The green parts grew back which I snipped off for cooking. I'd forgotten about them. Then late in summer they transformed into flowering alliums.
Oh dear--one more plant to spend my money on--have NOT seen this one at all! Thought allium were ALL bulbs! Very good information! BTW--love the kitty and his casual appearance to be loved. Too cute!
Love the alliums in this vid. Tried the regular ones and after a year they stopped coming up. Never say never! Thanks for a late summer blooming idea. My friends and I share things we’ve found on your site. Really enjoy them. Thanks
I never knew about allium until i saw them on your channel and they're just too lovely. I wonder if they'll do well in our hot and humid climate though. Living in a tropical country, I don't think I've ever seen anyone plant it.
Thank you for the video on these I have millennium in my garden but always wondered the difference guess I will have to get some serendipity too i love all alliums for their whimsical purple balls they always remind me of Dr Seuss
Perfect timing once again. I just took photos of my beds to help me plan for next yr. I knew I had to plant something to bloom in August! Serendipity it is!!
Very interesting to watch this plant matured, its started out like little small onions on top, in a bend shape, then slowly and slowly evolve into beautiful blooms
Hi Laura! I LOVE those 'Serendipity' Allium! I need to find some of them. I like the other ones, too, but prefer the shorter variety. If I can find them, I hope they do well in pots! It's good seeing more of Cheddar! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks Laura for another great video. I tried this allium for the first time this year. I was so excited when I found it at the nursery. I couldn't believe how well it bloomed in the heat of summer and just kept producing. I do have trouble with bunnies eating my coneflowers. I'm going to try planting them together this spring
When “dead heading” - can you just pull off the dead flowers or should you be using shears and cutting in a specific way? Love ALL your videos. Thank you for generously sharing your beautiful garden(s) and knowledge with us!
THEY ARE SO PRETTY 😍 I wonder if I could find them in my area, zone 9b???? I would love some in my yard. Too funny 🤣 when you asked your chicken if she needed to lay an egg!! Did you get the new chickens 🐔? Thank you for sharing. I hope you're all doing well.
Let's play spot Russel!! What a sweetie, he's such a comical little sidekick, I love his appearances :)
I watch for him as well.....so cute
I think that's Cheddar :) Lovely cameo nonetheless.
Her kitties are so sweet and cuteeee😻
That's Cheddar, no extra toes : )
Yes, that was Cheddar!
early morning is a time of day that chickens do lay eggs, but they will also sing. the noise they are making isnt bothering your viewers.
I actually like the chicken sound! More please hahaha
Omg your kitty popping up in the fence at the beginning was the best

Great video Laura. My fav garden are the ones around the coop and the wooden pathway.

And Cheddar pops in for a visit. I'm definitely adding Serendipity Alliums to my garden!
This is a nice surprise ! Ready for bed , nice to watch beautiful things before night prayers 😇 . These are gorgeous ! I like these better than spring ones.
Wow Laura, I want you to know you have been my inspiration. Always the best to you, Aaron, Benjamin & your family. Take care♡♡♡♡

I LOOOOVE those Alliums 💜

Thanks, I love bonus episodes! 🌼🌸⚘
Love that they naturalize!
Such a beautiful display

STUNNING!!! What an amazing dramatic impact they give to the flower bed. ❤️❤️
Gorgeous allium

They are beautiful
I am definitely going to plant these in my flowerbed in my front yard below my dining room window. They will be beautiful.
I love their color!

Bonus video. 😍 Its saturday here in India and I am so happy for this surprise video. Great start of a lockdown weekend 😄
Planted 6 of these in the quart size this spring and they are flowering like crazy. Loving the grassy, blue, upright foliage. I have a very formal, patterned garden so I'll be deadheading - thanks for that tip!
Does one plant produce more than one flower? Thanks

I love these alliums. They remind me of the clover on Horton Hears a Who.😁
Proven Winners, we need these in New Zealand.
They are absolutely beautiful
That walkway looks so vibrant. Great combinations all around.
I love the allium. The color is purple in the shade and such a pink tint in the full sun. Your chicken coop area is one of my favorites. Gorgeous. Have a great weekend. God bless. 👏🏻💕👏🏻

I remember watching this like it was yesterday
So glad I watch your video, then went to home depot and bought some..Love it the plants
Love the contrast between the fading and the fresh. I love all alliums. And the chicken coop area is my absolute favorite. 🐓
I love this pocket of your garden. The cottage garden. I’ve been wanting to see those roses in bloom.
So pretty. Love the look.
Love them. Thank you so very much for sharing.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I always like when Russell just pops up any where. He is amazing.
I have the Millennium allium blooming in my garden right now. Just planted it this spring and it's beautiful! 🌿
Yay, what a nice surprise at 3am ♥
I used to plant in my garden the white bottoms of store-bought spring onions after I’d eaten the green tops. The green parts grew back which I snipped off for cooking. I'd forgotten about them. Then late in summer they transformed into flowering alliums.
The grass at the back of alliums makes gorgeous combination 👌
also I love purple 💜
I got a good laugh this morning when you said need to go lay an egg❤️❤️ love those flowers, will get me some . Have a nice day 🌺🌺
Oh dear--one more plant to spend my money on--have NOT seen this one at all! Thought allium were ALL bulbs! Very good information! BTW--love the kitty and his casual appearance to be loved. Too cute!

Such a pretty bloom. 💕🌸💕🌺💕🌼💕
These are beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
The cottage garden is my favorite!!
I love kitties but I'm allergic, so I always look forward to Russell's appearance!
Im allergic to pet dander, & if one scrathes me i break or in a rash.
I planted this in my garden this year, Laura and I have truly enjoyed them! Thank you for this video and bringing us so much joy!
I am a big fan of alliums. I planted them last year to discourage deer and rabbits. I was actually able to have tulips last spring!
Peggy Fleming
Did you plant your alliums in the tulip garden or perimeter? I'd love to be able to save my tulip candy from deer.
Cats 🐈 always have a cameo in all your videos!
Love these informative plant highlights. Thanks.
Your understanding and use of plants is so amazing!
Just purchased a few ,thanks for sharing this video Laura looking forward to enjoying their beauty, stay safe❤
I love the way they look in that garden. What a show. Thanks Laura. Great info👍
Those alliums are elegant and gorgeous! I hope to grow alliums myself one day.

I see that Cheddar is the one photo bombing today!🤗😘💕😸
He has been very attached to Laura lately that's why he's been appearing more in vids.I think he like the preggy hormones that Laura gives off..
Finally they are blooming!!! When are you going to show us the new chickens? You bought some new ones, right???
Definitely on my list of plants going in my garden! I just love them!
One of my favorite things in our garden. All week ours have been covered in butterflies. ❤️
Omgosh that pop of colour!!
Beautiful flowers thanks for sharing .

The globemaster alliums definitely look like something out of Whoville, that's for sure.
Perfect timing once again. I just took photos of my beds to help me plan for next yr. I knew I had to plant something to bloom in August! Serendipity it is!!
Those are so pretty. Love the shape, color and height.

I bought two last week. I love alliums and when I found this plant I was just inlove.
I live in the BC Rockies, and I have had a chipmunk snacking on my plants all summer!
I love it! This is my favorite part of your garden. I love hearing my chickens. Please let us hear yours🥰
Hi Laura! I LOVE those 'Serendipity' Allium! I need to find some of them. I like the other ones, too, but prefer the shorter variety. If I can find them, I hope they do well in pots! It's good seeing more of Cheddar! Thank you so much for sharing!

I like to learn about plants which keep deer and rabbits away thank you for the education. The color is really striking in Fall setting.
These are gorgeous, hopefully I can find them in Australia
I love ornamental alliums. I planted some last summer. I hope mine seed. Your drift looks amazing
Son hermosas las plantas de Allium👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
We got PW Spring Onions - they look like these but smaller - and they bloomed all summer. Highly recommended!
I love the look of these, but I'm in zone 9b...so I'll just admire yours!!!
When “dead heading” - can you just pull off the dead flowers or should you be using shears and cutting in a specific way? Love ALL your videos. Thank you for generously sharing your beautiful garden(s) and knowledge with us!
I would cut the whole flower stalk off to make a nice clean cut.
@@bluesky7226 Definitely... agree!
Love the alliums. Such a beautiful addition to the garden.
Love when you do videos of specific plants, thanks.
Perfect timing, as I just bought some of these yesterday at my local garden center! Today - I plant! :) Inspirational, as always - thank you!
