The fact that Neil and majority of the guests are fantastic voice actors and they all sound like they’re talking through an Xbox mic makes this so much funnier

The shitty cameras and occasional framerate drops in game also really help set the mood lol
@@wasperfly BG3 REALLY feels like actually old school RPG when it has that jank with frame drops or pop-in, like if it ran perfectly it wouldn't be the same experience as playing KOTOR on a 32mb RAM machine, or trying to make Fallout not crash.

@@jMichaels878 Allignment is not a matter of a background in DnD, it's about approved decisions. Astarion approves most of the evil decisions but sometimes disapproves actions which can lead to violence for the sake of violence itself, leaning more towards sneaky/undercover approach, so he is a classic Neutral Evil. BG3 has it's Chaotic Evil companion tho - it's Minthara obviously, who, for example, is literally ecstatic about ALL of the crazy shit you can do in Dark Urge playthrough.

I like to think that when Astarion gets further in his healing process and finds who he really is on the inside, he'll be like a lot like Neil. At the party at the end of the game, you can already see that change. He's so much more alive and excitable after only 6 months of self discovery. ❤

You can tell that Neil just resonates with Astarion. He was a eastern european mercenary with psychotic tendencies over a paycheck, a weird british-like magneto with neckbeard mannerisms... but THIS is his habitat, this weird, chaotic evil vampire is where Neil is at home.
Every video of Neil just proves more and more why he got "voice actor of the year"
I absolutely love how unhinged Neil is playing this game, it's as if Astarion is literally playing it lol.

Amelia (narrator) already has a good one though as she works from home so does her VA work with her home one.
You don’t need a good microphone, you need noise gate and noise reduction. The amount of quality I was able to tickle out of some random old headset I found in the back of a drawer…

There's just something really funny about watching the guy who voices both the main hero and one of the main antagonists, and getting some insight into what happened behind the scenes, as well as which lines they remember and which they don't.
