Right on the edge of Kankakee, Illinois, a small interstate town loosely connected to the Chicago metro. Lies Northfield Square Mall. There isn’t a whole lot to say about this mall that I haven’t already said before about others like it.. This mall is stuck in the 90s with all the retro aesthetics ironically also being in the 90s with how vacant it is.. Now as of writing this dipping below 90%.
