The best way to get rid of cultter is to take a picture of it and later on if you miss it you can look at the picture. I had emotional attachments to a lot of cultter but I used this method and I feel 100% better!

I have recently started to take pictures for my before & after decluttering project & it helps quite a bit & is liberating from the clutter. It was recommended from some youtube decluttering coaches/organizers that I follow.

GREAT examples! There are a lot of paradigms we adopted to thrive in our corporate jobs. It's a lot of programming to recognize and redefine to become masters of our own lives.

What about if you throw bitcoin into the mix ? No one who has held bitcoin for the 4 year cycle has ever lost any money. In fact if you price property in bitcoin everything gets cheaper every four years. How ? because bitcoin unlike the pound is fixed in its supply and the purchasing power gets stronger every four years. For example a house you want to buy today will be cheaper in four years in bitcoin terms. This is why all the leading asset managers are buying and holding bitcoin. Even business are adopting bitcoin to gain competitive advantage. Why and How ? Lets say cashback for example. If you were to offer a customer 5% cashback and give it to them in bitcoin instead of pounds the cashback to them would increaes in value in four years. Hence the 5 pounds given to them in bitcoin would probably be worth 15 to twenty pound in four years. Am I selling bitcoin ? No I just teach other entrepreneures how it works. No spamming or emails. Just some food for thought. You can subscribe to my channel if you wish to learn about bitcoin, Thats it. Tony.

I retired from my day job 4 years ago, but my days are full with taking care of a home, a husband , yard work, being available for our son & grandson, etc. As my husband nears his retirement, I look forward to our next chapter. I so appreciate your content. There is plenty of financial retirement advice out there, but you guys offer so much more on the emotional/ relational side of this time in our lives. I particularly liked your recent video on the need to discover /build new community. You are both so very relatable, and real together. I love to tell my husband about your latest videos. Thanks for the work that you are putting into this. You are helping so many navigate these different avenues and opportunities. ❤😊

I “used” to be a lawyer. I wasn’t one of those individuals who wanted to be a lawyer since I was a kid so it wasn’t a difficult transition. I miss the socializing but I volunteer at the court occasionally, which takes care of that need. Do not miss the practice at all. Liberating is a perfect word. Working on personal growth and reinventing myself. Feels great. Your discussions are great reinforcement. Thank you.

I truly enjoy your videos. A couple of points really hit home. I was in sales and had many rewards and trophies. Within the first year of retirement, I took pictures of them and then trashed them. (I hate dusting) Professional clothing and suits, Jody, I hear you on this one. I would buy myself a new suit whenever I sold a new account. They are now all gone. What a relief. Goals, I am big on this still, they are posted on the bedroom door every year. It’s to ensure that as you look back you can see your accomplishments over the years.

I haven't posted more than twice and you sweetly answered both, welcoming me to your channel and congratulating me on this Friday being my last full time shift, so sweet! Thank you Jody and Mark. TH-cam is my only social media since I quit Face Book, Twitter, never got into Instagram, of any of those. (I've had my pix used on someone else's website etc, so.) I really value y 'all here! I feel like if asked "what is a dream for your life?" My unrealized answer until quite recently is "retire successfully." The whole thing could go POOF even now and I still feel I made it. Was terminally ill with Hep C. Cured. Living in California not for the faint in wallet. 15 years so far and no trust funder here. Will pare down further and move out of state should the need arise. Got my to do white board including med schedules since my work exoskeleton of career and the time clock goes away cuz I got to say, done. Thank you for your sweet support.

Just a comment on being a people pleaser. Often times if done unconsciously. This could be a maladaptive sign on a defense mechanism which suggests an unmet need on being enough. Just saying

You know. The best part of my retirement journey at present. Is having to have discovered my inner child or my unconscious mind.
Evidence-based research in psychology has proven that 95% of your behavior and thoughts and actions are from your unconscious beliefs which is ingrained in your physiology or neuron program in your brain, and this drives your personslities such as people-pleaser, perfectionist, busy-body person etc.
These as a suggestion could be delved into your set-up. However, these insights which I have been awakend into due to my retirement, works better if learned experientially. Still this could be studied intellectualy and applied in life.
Your Childhood experiences which molded you to be a retiree often times manifest after 20, 30 years or more.
That's why having to work on having an introspective mind now since we have the time may be good for us retired people.
      Just saying. 😊

Who hurt you as a child? Your comment is not helpful at all. You didn’t give them one concrete example so they could work on it if they so desire. How does one tell constructive criticism from an insult? An insult never has any details, it only serves to be hurtful.
