Hike to an incredible mountain lake with the best bench in the SWISS ALPS - Fälensee!

- Fälensee, Switzerland. Frozen in the winter, reflective in the summer. Enjoy a beautiful two hour hike through lovely alpine scenery and then take in the stunning views as you sit on this bench overlooking the lake! Timeless. It's in the Alpstein, very close to Saxer Lücke. Check it out.
Fählensee is one of my favorit places in Switzerland. In the summer it is even more beautiful. Best, Benjamin
I can imagine. I'll have to visit in the summer. I visited Seealpsee a couple of days before this and the reflections in the water were incredible!
How difficult is to get at the bench point? This look amazing but I’m scared I will get lost trying to get there 😂
Once you're at the lake, then it's just a path behind the hostel. Its not actually that far - looks further than it is! It's a path over the rocks and through the trees. I'd think in the summer they'd be plenty of others to follow too (although hopefully not so you can enjoy it properly!) It is lovely.

How many miles was the hike one way? Or round trip?
It was about 6km each way. So just under 4 miles each way. 👍
