Caps form is really scary. It's so sad to see him play so bad because Caps is probs my favourite pro player. Hans has also been kinda inting or atleast not performing well. Yike and BB (miky also) have had an amazing tournament tho. Yike is a rookie and showed up big and BB finally stepped up against all the haters (I was also doubtful because of his previous performances). Idk how long this underperforming can go on from caps until the inevitable happens.

caps wasn't that bad either - you're used to a caps that is played around by jankos.. this new caps has to accelerate hansama game 1 caedrel said in draft that you need to play around yasou: he gets 0 ganks and gets reduced to just windwall, q ulting elk so at least aphelios isn't part of a team fight for a bit - team had no damage gg, but hey yike was fed lol game 2: caps had to leave lane min 4 to save bot lane, couldn't return until min 6 - on a scaling Syndra pick, 2 min out of lane, down a level, down farm against an eastern mid - gg for him, took forever til he could finally come online game 3: Annie played alright - missed some, hit some, couldn't, initiated some good turns, quite often Lulu, jgl walked into his lane while his team didn't really play for him so naturally just a stun provider (that's ok) but as a result couldn't one shot aphelios - gg game 4: went top and did well.. then came the split push, looked mid and team was aced, gg I mean he didn't carry but he wasn't set up for carrying either - all eggs were in the hansama basket and elk just destroyed hans, some crucial moments he missed but generally did ok, they all inted sometimes but when you're the carry that's when you can't let them kill you - and the carries didn't play like they were carries in some really crucial moments when game was winnable - should have based for IE, should have flashed the culling, should have not died at raptors.. well.. those weren't caps fault but people will focus on his mistakes the most cause he is the best known player and we assume he is a carry (when all he did was play facilitating champs this MSI)

This MSI shows the importance of boot camp for European teams. No boot camp in asia = not nearly enough time to catch up. I don't think boot champ changes much honestly. LPL is just an infinitely better region than LEC and it is what it is. G2 almost brought JDG to game 5, and that's pretty respectable.

lpl competition as practice is making the diffy. g2 put up a real valiant effort but it was region diff. wasnt really close either only time g2 won or came close to winning was punishing mistakes. they played well individually especially, but all they did was keep it close.
My hopes for the west for Worlds are in shambles after this series. The only game G2 won was after a giga throw by Elk just constantly face tanking the entire enemy team. Depression :c

Not saying that G2 would have won if they were more focused because eastern teams are just leagues above the west right now. I'm just pointing out that scrims aren't useless just because the results of them didn't translate to on stage success here.

lpl competition as practice is making the diffy. g2 put up a real valiant effort but it was region diff. wasnt really close either only time g2 won or came close to winning was punishing mistakes. they played well individually especially, but all they did was keep it close.

@@adardeslol7513 That's not what that means at all. Scrims are very useful learning tools but the reality of literally any competition is that how you perform ON THE DAY is what matters. You could be undefeated winning every game at 15 minutes forcing FF in every scrim but if you aren't feeling it on the day of play you aren't going to perform. Not saying that G2 would have won if they were more focused because eastern teams are just leagues above the west right now. I'm just pointing out that scrims aren't useless just because the results of them didn't translate to on stage success here.
