Paige is smarter than Sheldon
My take is that Paige and Sheldon are both extremely talented people, the difference being Paige is the typical talented child, burning out as a teenager due to just life (and especially her situation) whilst Sheldon is a Talented kid that sticks to himself

It's because his voice got deeper and I'm assuming they felt it was out of place with the other children. They should have just kept it in rather than this creepy AI generated voice.
