I think what lost German team was that that Germans did NOT have the proper German haircut, besides that they were great in the times when karate was still real and proper and not BS as it is today.
@@rolffriedrichwitte I heard that in those days Hideo Ochi trained Germans with original proper technik, kime and power, nowdays it is really hard to find the real kara-te, I think Italians after Hiroshi Shirai keep on the original tradition.

It is Kasuya, not Naka. I was there at the time. Kasuya followed Kanazawa's SKI when he quit jka. Kasuya has his own karate organisation today.
