Robert McDaniel is a great young QB. Showed out at the elite eleven showcase. Our transfer portal incoming is outstanding. 4 corners, 2 safeties, 2 OL, edge rusher, WR

Thanks for checking out the show, Rick! Definitely excited to see how UCLA moves forward from here. Recruiting class they are building hasn’t received enough mainstream attention

Let me break this down for everyone.
    1. Chip never wanted to coach and should not have been hired. Statistically ucla had rhe worst recruiting since they started ranking recruits under Chip.
    2. The timing of Chip quitting, didn't let Foster hire everyone he may have wanted. This was him calling in his coaching favors to build a staff.
    3. We had one commit at the time Foster came on board then foster grabbed a top 35 class in no time flat.
    4. He didnt have time to use the portal last year look at it bow ucla is top 15 in portal recurting and its still not over.

Thanks for the breakdown and checking out the show, David! Would agree with all your bullet points (especially the Chip part). Think they could have made some noise if he didn’t completely half ass it. It’s actually one of the reasons why I wanted to cover UCLA- they don’t get enough mainstream attention and Foster deserves credit for what’s he done. Think UCLA will be patient with him. More or less a matter of whether the collectives will get behind him enough to compete with rest of the Big 10

Foster has to build a team that can compete currently with usc and the middle of the big 10. The next step would have to be getting players that can compete against Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, and the rest of the sec. That will take time.

Appreciate you checking out the show, King! You’re right- nothing is built overnight but there is reason to believe they are heading in the right direction

Why does everyone sanitize the influence of NIL money by pretending it’s not just pay to play?

In my opinion, current NCAA model is most similar to the Premier League. Yes, I think there is always going to be element of pay to play but it’s possible to have success without entirely relying on the portal every year. Clemson, Penn State, and Iowa have all had success with minimal transfers

Hey Rob Sheply - it's Karl Door-ral, not Karl Darrel. Learn how to pronounce names, or else your credibility goes right out the window.
