I really love Naughty Dog's writing, the way they pull off characters in their games and how the whole time these two interacted I was actually smiling, they're believable people. Funny thing, it was a very rare occasion but, Crash could hang in the original game. It was a weird mechanic when you missed a jump at a pitfall, but if timed perfectly, and near enough to a ledge, you wouldn't die but hang on instead. Couldn't climb up tho :/
