I thought brebas were the 2nd crop during the summer. My fig tree produced Excellent brebas around the end of may, juicy and ripe my family and i ate them. During the 2nd crop there were probably twice as many figs than brebas however they were very dry and flat. I think it was due to the extreme summer heat of Las vegas and i didn't water the tree enough 😕. Anyways i love the information and channel thank you!
Ross have you every tried any early ripening tricks like removing the leaf below the fig or olive oil? Should I water more to get them to swell. Seems like its been long enough but only one has ripened. They just wont swell. Hopefully there is still time.
I love my black fig.. I don't understand "brava crop".. can u elaborate more.. it's interesting but I don't understand..I live in southern California.. inland where we have dry weather early in the summer then humid late in July into august
Question... Not breba related. I have kadotas and they are hard and the size of a quarter or maybe half dollar. Am i doing something wrong or are they a late ripening variety
Great info! Hey how are your paw paws going? I just got huge harvest!
They're almost ready.
Figs like all plants have a natural order to them, you’ll see the best results by just letting them be
Let's the tree do itself naturally is the best 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

You just need to understand their ripening process: www.figboss.com/post/why-are-my-figs-not-ripening

Breba is figs that grow on last years growth instead of new growth
Sure, check out more information here: www.figboss.com/post/breba-figs
@@RossRaddi will do . Thank you..
My brebas rarely stay on here in Boston.
You need an established in ground tree to get them reliably.

Kadota is quite early. They probably didn't form 90 days ago. You can count the number of days from when they form.
@@RossRaddi thanks. Looks like it's July 15th so we are 30 days in. So October?
