- The fifth boss of Legend of Legaia, Xain. He is fought within the Fire Path to prevent him from killing all the humans in Octam's underground caverns.

Xains Terio Punch and Zetos Big Wive used to shake me to the core as a child
same here on Zeto, his Big Wave kills people in the early game and my level was low. But didn't have much trouble with Xain, already properly levelled when reached him.

It was Xain who taught me about grinding.
I remember this being the toughest boss in the game for me. Took me a couple weeks to beat him first time around.
I stuck in this part and quit, and a week later I felt curious about this game and decided to increase the levels and bought more powerful equipment first, and then I could defeat him after reaching level 17 with proper equipment.
This boss pissed me off alit when I first played this game

With couple Healing Flower and Vera
Before you knew that timed spirit was an easy way to get through the game

Learning Bull Horns against Xain, who is a bull with horns(that he very recently used on Gala in this fight!), is fitting. :)
Weird how he has a personality despite most seru bosses not having spoken lines at all
One of the hardest bosses, next to Berserker!
Berserker can be easy if you're lucky with Nighto.
@@stefanpatrickco I did that with Nighto as a kid too! Thought it was a glitch! 😵🤣
@@gjtrue Yeah, tried with nighto and beat it easily, but .... can beat the tense on beat it by fight =))
Actuallu berserker was easy. Just need to level up nighto to level 9 n it's 1-hit kill
Xain truly was a hard boss to defeat. Certainly if you were under-leveled and/or ill-prepared... 👀
This run is considered underlevel a bit tho. I dunno maybe lucky that xain didnt spammed the horn move
Always had trouble with Xain and Berserker in Jeremi!

(But seriously, without point card hax, I don't have a good strategy to beat him below about level 14, despite the fact that Berserker can be beaten at L8 or so with Earth Jewels.)
Earth Jewels won't work against Xain. His Terio punch is bugged. Honestly, using spirit at the right time make you able to pass him quite easily, bloody horns is the only threatening move he could use.

The only annoying think about this game: it doesn't reward you with enough exp and money even after long hard battles

What version of the game is this??? This is WAY easier than the vanilla. I just beat this game a week ago and Xain was hitting FAR harder than what we see here and my teams equips and accessories were maxed.
You probably don't know that spirit reduce damage taken,this boss is easy if you know that.
Boss became easy once you understand to use jewels, defender chains, and extra acc that improves performance

I would say Xain was my toughest boss, but then there is Gaza!
You forgot Che Delilas
Xain, Beserker, Gaza (both times), & Che Delilas are the toughest in the game, imo
I believe, i can't defeat xain in the ring even when my vahn around lvl 40-50 (near the end, before fighting last boss)
