I think it would be beneficial to give a knowledge-based response to the numerous podcasts that Ustadh Abdurahman Hassan released regarding Asharism / Kalam etc. I think what he's bringing forth to the public should be responded to in public.
Not worth a response. His own Shaykh Ibn Taymīyyah said in Majmu' Al-Fatawa that using Kalam is praiseworthy and useful as long as it is the good Kalam which doesn't contradict Sharia. Pseudo Salafis are only afraid of it because they don't understand it and it debunks their anthropomorphic creed.
Ilhad Atheism. Derives from Ilhah.Ilhad means deviation. It includes: Comparing Allah to anything, or any of His Attributes to those of His Creation. Denying any of Allah's Attributes or altering their true meaning. Using Allah's Names to describe anything in His Creation. To name Him with a name with which He has not named Himself. E.g. "Father". To attribute any deficiencies to Him. The person who practises Ilhad is called Mulhid.

Atheism has to do with one issue - the ridiculous and unsubstantiated claims asserted by ignorant theists that mythological gods are real. This rational position has nothing to do with social politics.
@@Theo_SkeptomaiIt's the lack of conviction in a diety. More rational?!? Atheism is the _only_ rational position when it comes to false claims asserting the reality of mythological gods.
