- Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) was established on 04 August 1962 in Pune, Maharashtra to provide a sustainable and steady intake of Medical Officers for the Indian Armed Forces. Affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and is recognized by the MCI for conducting exams of various medical courses. Academic Qualifications for AFMC:-
Candidate must have passed all the subjects opted for in the first attempt of the qualifying examinations as a regular candidate with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken simultaneously and securing not less than 60% of the aggregate marks in these 3 science subjects taken together and not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in each of the science subjects.
Interview:- Test of English Language Comprehension, Logic, and Reasoning (ToELR) will be in the form of Computer Based Test (CBT).
Total 80 Marks.
40 MCQs of 2.0 marks each.
0.5 for (negative marking). Time 30 minutes.
*English Language, Comprehension, Logic, and Reasoning.
The marks obtained in ToELR will be added to the NEET UG score (max of 720) to get a score out of 800. This will be divided by 4 to get the written examination score out of 200. Must have attained the age of 17yrs on 31st Dec of the year of application, but must not have attained the age of 22 years. N.P - Should be Medically Fit as per prescribed standards by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence.
The Final result of the selected Merit List and Wait- listed candidates would be available on the MCC portal www.mcc.nic.in, as well as on the websites www.afmc.nic.in & www.afmcdg1d.gov.in.

Sir I was strongly dedicated to AFMC in 12th class
but for some personal reasons I can't score well in 12th boards.
But I scored 64% in 12th. Also my AFMC criteria is fullfilling.
I had given NEET exam just after 12th. My score is approx. 89.
I have passed 12th in 2023. I am talking drop 1st time and aiming for AFMC
Hope after 1year I will get this prestigious collage.
