I love the work you are doing. I see the dedication and the joy in your eyes! I love the intelligent students' responses. Excellent for promoting oral self-expression in general and in a group setting. I will take the idea to my after hours Greek language school in Melbourne. Thank you!
when I was in school. we were told not to talk. and if you were a kid who didn't talk you were rewarded. but then as you get older you paid for that obedience.
They are still told not to talk, these are usually isolated teaching moments in a day that compound and revisit learning a different way. Most learning is done with low-level disruption at a minimum (ie. talking when they should be focused and independent learning).
Yes!!! It is the ONLY way to go in education. We must add the subject of Speech Education or Oracy to the curriculum of each and every school worldwide as mandatory! We need to begin teaching children the skill of oral self-expression as soon as possible so they would not have to grow up struggling with various types of speech underdevelopment like stuttering, stammering, cluttering, mumbling, etc. How can I contact anyone who is in charge of doing such an incredible job for the humanity? You are bringing back sanity to our confused planet, Thank you so much!!!
This is very helpful, even if you have an introverted personality and prefer to observe more than speak. It's fine, the same goes if the job you end up having doesn't require you to speak such as in sales or politics. There will be many other times in life in general when your speaking skills will help you such as talking to your utility companies, bank when buying your home or car, job interview, to a possible lover, in any relationship for that matter communication is key. It doesn't mean that you need to be so eloquent all the time, but I think in general it can help with your confidence. I feel this is definitely noteworthy and a good idea.
Accountable talk, oral learning standards, and/or debate skills, etc. must be taught, just as other literacy skills are taught. When students can communicate their ideas aloud they are much more likely to communicate their ideas in written form. @drkendrastrange #k12
I enjoyed watching the students confidently expressing themselves in conversation without any hesitation.
I show this to my high schoolers and they enjoy it. They are reminded that they can also speak and share. Great video!
Amazing and enjoyable classroom instruction. It is engaging and purposeful.I wish my students were active participants like those children.
I love it because each child is given a chance to express what they feel. This encourages the child’s confidence to speak better.
I love this they are so eloquent. Wish I had this type of schooling growing up.
Can still have a go at a debating society :) good fun

The children get freedom to express themselves....no right or wrong, just an opportunity to think and present their views...learning at its best!👍
I was kind of selective mute when I was a kid. Its impressive that kids are trying to articulate their thoughts
Nice & Perfect Initiative for Survive In the 21th Century👍👍
I love this. I need to make more of a
a deliberate effort to incorporate oracy into my curriculum.
THIS IS INCREDIBLE! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
I will show this to seniors in high school.
