My friend Selena wants to be a physical therapist and it’s not that I’m trying to put her down it’s just that I know that this program is very hard and in anywhere in the medical profession whatever you’re doing nursing doctoring PSW whatever you do you have to be 100% committed and truly want to do it and that’s why for me when I decided and chose to be a PSW I decided in grade 7 and I wanted to do it for 10 years now I’m finally gonna go to school for it this year at the age of 22 but I made sure for 10 years you know I made sure that it was what I wanted to do I worked in nursing homes as my co-op community Service I worked in nursing homes for many many years in the 10 years of me wanting to be a PSW and I wanted to do it for many many many many years for a very long time so yes this year at the age of 22 I am going to go to school for PSW but I know that I picked the right profession that’s what I wanna do because I spent 10 years making sure that’s what I wanted to do as for my friend Selena she wants to be a physical therapist she said she wanted to do it for seven years but I’m not sure if it’s something she chose to do Out of nowhere or if it’s actually something she thought about for seven years I’m not sure
i love helping people! & i love the patient interaction and relationship building. compared to other healthcare providers, PTs spend a lot longer with patients (1 hour, multiple times a week, for weeks-months at a time). hope this helps 🥰
