    Very informative video. Could you please suggest which area is good for affordable rental houses. We are searching for a home but couldn't find any. Please help in suggesting the area and how can we get .

      Thanks Kavita, glad you found it helpful.
      It depends what’s your preference, having home close to office/college is good if you have to go to office/college everyday. Having your home close to the train station helps.
      Also, currently the market is like so, to secure one you’ll have to quote a higher price.
      Cockburn central is where we stayed, and I personally feel it’s a good place to be in.
      Additionally you may look at places based on your budget.

    Hi Athulya, hope you are well. Me and my spouse are planning to move to Perth early next year from Sydney. To secure a rental townhouse or a house approximately within half an hour from the CBD, how much extra do we need to quote above the listed price advertised seeing the current rental market situation ?

    • @athulyanair
      @athulyanair  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rahul,
      It’s hard to say a number I would say. Depending on the area you might have to quote a little higher. But what I have noticed is if you have your documents rental references from Sydney, it will help you, (zero documents you’ll have to quote more). $20-$80 a week maybe, depending on the number of people who came for the home opening, I would say. Am not an expert, I don’t work with the house agencies.
      Am sure, once you look at few homes you’ll get a better idea. Also the agent would tell you how much is it going, you could ask for their previous property, although sometimes they might hype it a bit, you’ll get a good idea.

    I have a doubt that you are not sharing it with anyone . Is it possible to afford 2000 near about per month for house rent and how much rent new students pay in sharing .

    • @athulyanair
      @athulyanair  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A major chunk of your salary would go for rent. If you are working, you can. Plus if you share your apartment, you’ll share the rent as well, that won’t be heavy on one persons pocket.
      You could also just rent a room in house, that would cost you way lesser. Even the location of the property plays an important role.

      You may get in touch with the college authorities, some of them provide accommodation or at least connect with people who could.
      Alternatively, you may join FB student groups/Indian community groups, they could be super helpful too!

      There are a lot of great suburbs. Schools are decent in most of them. Depending on your priorities (whether you wanna be around a lot of Indians/wanna get admission in the best school/ prefer city/prefer near beaches etc.) you may pick up an area.
      We live towards the south side, there are suburbs like Piera waters, Harrisdale, Canningwale which are dominated by Indians, and most celebrations happen too. That being said, I don’t know much about Northern side. There are plenty of suburbs, if you like beaches you could consider suburbs closer to beaches (although slightly on the expensive side).

    Tell your cameraman/spouse to stop mouth breathing. Mouth breathing causes change in face structure, sleep disorders and dental problems, but mainly it shortens a life expectancy of a person.
