This was the Offertory Hymn at my daughters Baccalaureate Mass at Boston College two weeks ago. So meaningful. I feel like crying every time I hear the song...
One of my favorite liturgical songs and, based as it is in the famous prayer of St. Ignatius Loyola, "very Jesuit" in its message of complete surrender of all things to God. (It's interesting to compare it to John Foley, S.J.'s "Take, Lord, Receive," based on the same prayer.) Well done, Georgetown University Music Ministry!
This was sung at the funeral of a dear priest friend who died of COVID. It never fails to move me.
