I love Asics shoes & I’ve been wearing them as far as I can remember. 😍😍😍
I really like Asics Kayano shoes (stability version of this). I'm one of those "get out and run 5k" types and I think these are great for that. I love the gel cushion, the support they have, and I find them very durable. My wife's first running shoes were a pair of Nimbus 20 and she got 700 miles out of those.
They are built to last and for the 155 quid you will get a shoe that will do everything for a long time

I bought my Gel Nimbus 20 when they came out and believe it or not I still use them every single day and they look almost brand new! In the meantime, during last year I was trying to find some other type of similar shoe and sadly none of all the high performance shoes had the fit and feel of nimbus 20. I'd probably go for 23-24 for my next shoe.

Is the 24 version much better than this 23 version? Or are they pretty much equally great? 🤗🤔 the 23 is more affordable than the 24, on amazon. Should i spend more money for the 24, or not really. ?
Hello mate! What would you choose for long runs and easier miles out of the Nimbus and Endorphin shift? I've got a pair of Nimbus on their way to me but have been using my Endorphin speeds a lot recently and have fell for them so thinking about sticking with the Endorphin line!?
Nimbus for me over the shift but tbh go for the new GlideRide
Love the videos, looking at the Glideride or the Nimbus, which is best for shock absorption on the knees? Open to others if you can recommend anything.

Fordy, first of all really enjoy your videos!! I want to buy a shoe to train for my police physical test, 1,5 miles in 11 minutes, but if the shoes don't have a good shock absorbtion my knee hurts, the podiatrist suggested asics gel nimbus but I want a shoe to be able to complete the physical test successfully to be able to run with a bit of pace while keeping my knee pain free, would you recommend this particular shoe?

Has anyone who has experienced bad shin splints got these and have they helped?
After many reviews on YT, I did not expect much improvement from the Nimbus 23. But when I tried them the first time, I have been impressed. For me, this is a major step up in the Nimbus series. The fit is absolutely amazing, I did A/B testing with my Nimbus 22 and the difference is significant for my feet. Of course, that might be specific for my feet and others might not feel such a difference.
Then on my first run, I have been impressed again. More cushioning without loosing control. For a midfoot runner like me this is a good step in the right direction. I don't care for the weight, as this is my normal for years.
After watching many reviews on YT, I got the feeling that Asics was missing on innovation compared to what 'modern' brands offer. I thought, I needed to try out other brands. But then I decided not to spend my time into testing running shoes, but go training instead and just bought what I knew.
Anyone who liked their Asics the last years: don't let you drive into Fomo from all the talk, that Asics is missing the boat. For me this is the best daily training shoe I have ever had.

Was at the Berlin Marathon expo a few years ago and had a look at the Asics stand. It seemed embarrassingly bad compared to what was on offer from the other upwardly mobile brands. Felt like entering a running shop from 30 years ago lol They have produced a few decent shoes recently but a £155 price point for those feels silly.

Having bought the nimbus 22, i can say that they were dead shoesz although my feet were locked down pretty well! So, i am stuck with the glideride for quite long! I would like to see a nimbus lite 2 vlog! Peace!

love the Novablast BUT heel / mid foot support is not working for me hope the second generation would fix this

Asics would sell more shoes over here (uk) if we got the full range. We didn’t get the Nimbus lite or kayano lite. The nimbus lite 2 is out in USA Asia. Cmon Asics we want them too!.

Last month we in malaysia just received nimbus lite 2. However the price is not that "lite"'
I'm a Nike fan but my father is a Asics fan he has Asics gt1000 but he wants a new Asics so we are confused between Asics novablast and nimbus 23 which is good
The Nimbus has way more stability than the Novablast. If your father runs a Gt1000 and you are between the Nimbus and/or the NB, I personally would pick the Nimbus 23 or the Nimbus Lite 2. If you want the flagship of stability shoes from Asics look for the Kayano.
Decided to get Nimbus 23 since I hurt my foot from my last 20k run (I think it's a Plantar Fasciitis). However there's very limited size/color in Canada. Would you recommend the nimbus 23 knit or knit runners in general? Thanks in advance!

You can definitely feel a big difference. Also maybe because i wasnt using a proper running shoes. I was using a cross trainer shoes. So I came from a totally non supportive shoes. So it was really a big difference for me. Havent had the pain on my foot since i used it. It definitely helps with my underpronation issue. No more shin splints. If i can pinpoint one thing is that it's narrow on the toes. Im a true size 8. But it doesn't give me a lot of space around the toes so i wish i wouldve size up for more comfort. Still the most comfortable shoes ive ever used by far

I have been waiting for this review since the video you did a few days ago with your dog. I am looking for a easy day pair and i was personally was going to buy these on release but held back due to price and wanting to hear a review or 2. By the sounds of it they have added a lot of support features, hence the added weight. I think I will wait and hold off until February when the 1080 v11 gets released. Also, have you seen the specs for the Glideride 2?

Since discovered ASICS, have fallen for it . Got nymbus 19, 20, 22. New balance 801 also very comfy, they eere a great surprise, but best, Asics. Best cushioning andenabling breathing
I dont get why everyone calls the Nimbus soft, I think they feel kind of hard. By the way I love borng shoes! Makes me not think about my shoes which I think is the best! Waiting to try the Nimbus lite like you, very curious if that changes my feelings about the Nimbus line.

The only thing I could say about nimbus 23 is I bought one they comfy but they did last more than 2 months, I had replacement and same problem and big 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ 🏃♂️ runner.
Hi Fordy. I wonder why asics gb are so crap? Takes them an age to get new models... no sign of Kayano Lite. Asics is huge in the UK, but they are super slack.

hello i am looking at these now also lol do they run true to size? also is the midsole firm because i dont not like the new versions with soft density. they feel unstable for me with weak ankles ?

I bought the Asics Nimbus 23 shoes for running and it has been a complete disappointment and an absolute nightmare. I had used the shoes for only about 250*kms of running appro, and already the shoes are tearing apart. I had spent a ridiculous amount on these shoes, expecting a good quality product from Asics. Unfortunately, the quality of shoes sold by Asics in India is very poor. What's worse is that the customer care team is unwilling to provide any support, leaving me stuck with a defective product. I urge everyone to be aware before making a purchase of Asics shoes. These shoes are a waste of your hard-earned money and will only lead to disappointment. If you're thinking of buying Asics shoes, think again! Save your money and invest in a better brand that values their customers and produces quality products. Asics Nimbus shoes are a complete waste of money and a disgrace to the sportswear industry.
Not really impressed tbh, for that price point you got many better options on the market... Asics is boring us to death, they not given us anything innovative in a while (except Novablast 2 is decent).
