That is going to be a great tournament and sounds like a lot of fun! Once I get a kayak I will definitely be trying this! Out saving turtles while catching fish as cows are river bathing! A couple more weeks and its on! I'm coming back for Team Creek! Fishing the tournaments definitely pushes me to fish more and go after bigger fish.
That river looks great, I've been hitting the rivers down here trying to get in on the striper and white bass runs. Best of the week was a 26.5 inch 8.5 lb striper on a 2 inch perch hammer grub with a light spinning rod. I had given up on stripers the first day and was trying for some walleye or crappie and got that big thunk!
Also, those stripers won me a pair of Bajio sunglasses in a free tournament on Fishing Chaos. They are all summer long and change from week to week. Next week is rainbow trout and the week after is crappie.

If it's a knuklhed tourney you should submit the buffalo fish...and a gar...and the softshell turtle...some bluegill....just all of them.

John I got to thinking about something. Brother if I came off strong about the BFS stuff I apologize. When someone is just getting into BFS I try to help them the best that I can. The best thing I can tell you is use what I call micro braid. It just makes things much better for casting. But if I can ever help you further please let me know. Also don’t do what I done. Don’t go into BFS thinking I’ve gotta get good at this quickly. God Bless and thanks for all your videos.

I fished a few of the Knuklhed tournament last year, problem is there isn't any kind of adjustment based on where you live. While having decent populations of fish, some states just aren't as competitive. Got real discouraging watching people put up 110" limits when you know getting over 100" is a challenge where you live.
it is aggravating seeing numbers like that, most were the same people entering a bunch of tournaments. 3 of the winners for my team last year were in areas that are not really known for big bass

John whats the differences between a spinnerbait and chatterbait? What situations do you use each of them? Thankyou
Not John here but the spinner bait is a V shaped bait and has blade that spin and flash to cause a sight reaction and a chatterbait is a jig with a blade on the front that causes heavy vibration and a erratic action to cause noise. Both can be used in the same situations just have to see what they want to eat!
