Can you recommend best tire pressure for the Ninebot One Z10 weighing 237 Pounds and 6 Foot
It's very subjective and based on personal preference. I know for me if the PSI was in the 30's I got some bad speed wobbles.
How fast were you going during the video? You said "24“, was that mph or km/hr. Hard to tell with wide angle cameras!

Do you have another EUC?
After riding for a week now, I'm thinking the ZTen has a low center of gravity feel and at speed it seems to have some fierce gyroscopic force. It's my first wheel so I can't compare to anything other than my regular unicycle. Rather than dense I would say solid. Like a bowling ball with a tire on it.

Thanks duff. Really appreciate the insightful review. I have NEVER ridden a wheel, or skateboard, or rollerskates and i just found out about these wheels this week. Needless to say im a huge fan already. Im really big guy though. 6ft 4 and weigh almost 290lbs. Would the z10 be able to support me you think? And do you think its a good buy for an absolute beginner rider?
The Z10 is rated to carry someone of your weight. The Z10 is not an ideal wheel to learn on because of it's weight but some aspects of it, like the fat tire, would make learning balance initially a little easier. If you make it your first wheel make sure to pad up the wheel until you learn the basics and of course pad up yourself equally well.
Congrats! You get an ordinary family SUV. Like slow turtule!

Do you know how to factory reset the z10 because mine will not balance and only free wheels when powered on? Do you know how to reset or re calibrate motors please??
I do not but what you are reporting sounds like a system board failure which has been reported by a lot of Z10 owners. How new is the wheel and where did you get it from?

Since this tire is tubeless, is it possible to use plugs aka "bacon strips" for flat tire repair?
I've seen videos on changing tires on these wheels and I'm trying to avoid the disassembly nightmare.

I guess it depends on the type of puncture, I personally have not ever heard of anyone trying bacon strips on an EUC

EUCs can handle potholes, smallish ones that is ;)

Sorry, I should've left a note!, so there was one outer shell screw that wouldn't screw back in, so I left it in the same pouch as the 2 screws for affixing the top of the mudguard.
Hmmm I have to find that pouch? I saw a small plastic bag but didn't see anything in it? I'll look again. Thanks for charging it!
Yes, the small plastic bag should've had 3 screws, 2 were for the mudguard.
And of course, no problem! I am a serial charger, especially with this wheel and how slow it is to fill up!

Larger wheel has less torque, so higher pedals would actually be bad because you'd have more leverage, but not enough torque for the wheel to catch you.

I'm currently using a evolve bamboo gt skate board want to change maybe to ninebot z10 or onewheel need more range and want a water residence commuter would you say it's easy to learn a one wheel unicycle and is it safe and water proof thanks lee
If you want more range an EUC can't be beat. I barely squeezed 20 miles out of my One Wheel and that was with totally flat terrain. The One Wheel also is not nearly as robust in wet conditions. I would not say it is easy to learn an EUC but it all depends on the person. I will say whatever effort it takes you to learn, is worth it. :)

Ok so you have a monster, how about impressions between the monster and the Z10? Out of those 2 which one you prefer and why? What you did not like about the big wheel?
To me, the Monster is the ultimate long distance open road cruising wheel. The Z10 is a good cruiser as well but can do other things as well. So far the Z10 is like the Msuper with versatility, being able to handle various situations well.
One of the strongest wheel is a monster22 or msuper or Z10 in speed and pleasure ?
For open road riding for long distance, the Monster is still king in my book.
The permanent flashing is what LED lights appear to do on camera. See most car reviews that show day time running lights

Hey Duf ! Thanks for the videos, I am following you since some months and would like to share with you my experience, just so everyone can know !
I have both an Inmotion v8 and a Segway z10. Both suffered (more than 5000km riding now) a tire pressure loss.
- It took 3 weeks to fix the tire with Inmotion Global
- It' s taking 4 MONTHS to fix the tire with Segway España through the Spanish service repair.
Useless to say, I sent so many complains this is the only way I can distress while looking at the empty box : Social media.
I think it' s fair everyone knows. because it' s thanks to videos like yours and other riders, I decided to go for Segway instead of another brand, to step up my rider level . I think this is something very important. I basically spent 2000 euros for an item I used 1 month before it breaks, and the service repair is unable to repair since 4 months.

Unfortunately bad repair response has been one of the biggest issues for the Z10. I know in the US it is hard to even find anyone that sells them because Ninebot has been so terrible with warranty claims.

I've been riding a Segway Mini Pro the last couple of years at work, in parades, etc. How difficult do you think it will be fore me to learn the EUC? I'm thinking I'll go either Z10 or KingSong 18XL. Any advise?
Well I went the same route, I had a Minipro. I thought learning an EUC would be a small jump in skill. For me it was a BIG jump. If you search my channel for my learning videos you can see the struggles. Some learn faster than others but for me it was similar to learning to ride a bike as far as difficulty goes. I would recommend an 18XL over a Z10.

Is this wheel worth $1799 seems very expensive? I'm thinking about ordering one just got an e-mail today they are in stock..
In the US it is hard to find anyone that sells them. To be honest, with the abysmal support Ninebot has given on the Z10, I can't recommend buying one.
@@Duf I ended up purchasing a Kingsong 18XL hopefully the app from ewheels.com works they linked me to for registering because the one in the play store didn't and an older on on a forum didn't work.

No wonder my Swagroller is 400.00 only. 9.7 mph max, but that's just right for this old guy I don't bounce like I use to.
One website I found states the Z10 has a max user weight of 330Lbs, however they recommend contacting them if the rider weight exceeds 220Lbs. I find this particularly odd?
I heard 330 as well as max weight.

A Z10 is much faster and bigger, it depends how far you have to commute.

@@KevinPonseel You feel more secure on the smaller wheel? My experience is the bigger wheels feel much more stable over rough road.
@@Duf I feel more secure on 2 wheel (i wish they were bigger) as i can step a feet on floor very easily with the ES2.
I am living Ireland, it's always wet and roads are craps. I see a lot of ES1/ES2 but never seen an unicycle, I was wondering why but curious to give it a try ! this one look awesome
@@Duf I just saw some off-road video of the Z10 and OK it's defo an other level and finally seems more safe... Not the same price and not available here yet 😭
These fall down on wet surfaces, right? At least a easier chance of losing traction.
You can ride an EUC on wet roads pretty competently. Of course avoiding hard acceleration or braking is advised.

Yea, my hill testing went really well, makes me curious how it will hold up for you. For me I felt it performed significantly better than my Msuper V3 or Monster did when put to a more severe test.

How much high speed wobbling did you experience? I just did a 20 miler and had it come and go the entire time. Still adjusting I guess.
I'm so trained now to offset my feet / ride diagonally with any wobbling (one foot up more up, the other foot more back, like you're riding a skate or snowboard), so I really didn't notice any wobbling on the Z. Might just be how I ride
For reference, I only punched it to max for my speed run vid, but the rest of the time did my average 25mph range.
Any chance of a Range Test?
Today I charged to full and then did the 20 mile DD ride averaging 20-21mph almost the entire way. I had 45% battery left which would make me think for someone of my size, 30-40 miles would be possible depending on conditions.

The tire bearly has any side wall, going to be very stiff...no one should ever have stiff leg riding any PEV. What about adding a strip foam padding for the leg?
You could certainly add your own pad. Chooch, the guy that is testing it after me let a ton of air pressure out of the tire and says it feels much better.
Have you used the kingsong 18L can you compare?
No but I hope to be able to do that either with a test unit or the one I hope to purchase. ;)
That is not the one and only ninebot z10. There were many many more out there. Lol
