I had many a job as nanny when I was younger and had a great time! I worked for some very famous people who treated me extremely well. It was hard work but I got to go on wonderful holidays and see places that I would never have been able to afford to see at that stage of my life. Being a nanny is a great way to see and experience the world without the hassles of expenses. Accommodation (usually the best) and food (usually the best) all thrown in. I can thoroughly recommend the life as long as you choose your 'employers' wisely.
Annika Yeah, I’m Canadian. My mom heard the name in Germany while she was on an exchange there during high school. You’re right, it’s pronounced differently here.
So royal nannies have absolutely no life outside their job. Better pay really, really well so that they can retire in style when the kids reach age 18.
The point of work depends on the compensation. If I could permanently retire in style by age 40 as long as I lived my work daily for 20 years, I'd do it. I don't want children of my own and I do want financial security.
I worked as a nanny for a while when I was younger, and for me it was worth it. Living with the family you're working for also means that you have very negligible expenses. I had my own private apartement with shower inside their home (that I could lock, of course) and food was also provided (really good food too). The only thing I had to pay was my phone bill. So I practically could save 99 % of my earnings. And let me tell you, it was the best paid job I ever had.
I don't have contact with child caregivers but do have contact with caregivers for the elderly. The best don't have any problem finding their next job and it's probably the same for nannies at this level. In fact, they have people clamoring for their services and some have a lot of leverage in negotiating their benefits, salary, etc. You'd be surprised how much some can make. After all, you're not paying someone for a minor service but to care for a beloved family member. The best folks don't do it only for pay though, they genuinely care and you can see it. Some also receive inheritances and gifts upon their clients' deaths (talking about older people here).
Norland graduates are always in high demand - mostly because they’re the best. They don’t just look after royal children, they’re also hired by Hollywood stars, rich business people etc. They even have to learn to make, from scratch, a lot of things kids need from clothes to food to toys. And I don’t mean using a sewing machine either - they have to hand sew stuff. Another fun fact: they are not permitted to eat any fast food or go in such restaurants whilst in their uniform.
Yea I was reading that usually Norland doesn’t even have enough nannies to fill the positions that are available. You’re guaranteed a job when your graduate

I am so thankful I raised my own children. They know who their own mother really is. We grew up with getting a spanking when we had it coming. There is a very big difference between abuse & a spanking. Sadly, there seems to be some people who are unable to tell the difference.

Also, the kids I've babysat for always knew their mother, so your comment confuses me. Lastly, I too was spanked and unfortunately developed mild anxiety from the experience.

How marvellous it must be for the Royals. Hand their kids over to Nanny and have only the fun and joy of children, none of the work!!! I hear that Kate has a Night Nanny when she comes home from hospital with a new baby, so her nights are not disturbed!!! WOW Must be wonderful.
Me and my siblings were spanked and no one could ever convince me it didn't help me because I see it did. I thank my parents all the time that they had clear boundaries with me and taught me respect for laws and rules. It taught me a lot of self control, how to be thankful and emotionally stablized me. All my 9 nieces and nephews are spanked and my kids will be spanked when they act up. Done right with loving bouderies its one of the best gifts you can give your child. I am not religious I just have lived the benefits. My mom used to say someone only received enough spankings when they are grateful for them when they grow up. All the people I have seen be grateful for their spankings have lived very good lives but those that complain about their spankings have bad lives, relationships and a low potential for happiness of their own doing. Spankings help you become the best version of yourself.
They have those robot babies in the high schools where i live. They send the baby home for a week with the 10th grader. Ive had 3 in the last 3 years. They cry 2 to 3 times a night. Its hystrical watching them roll out of bed to stop the "baby" crying.
I used to be a nanny. I was even a nanny in the city of Bath where Norlan College is based. I applied to be trained there however I was turned down as I suffer from acute migraines 😭
Where can I find a robot is baby for my granddaughter? A baby doll that can wee, cry and shed tears isn't real enough to satisfy her mothering instinct.....! She's 7!
A horse with no name: Well it's a video supposedly about the UK Royal nannies and has a section about how good their driving must be. However it shows a woman driving in a different country,
Not necessarily - looks like avoidance of danger driving to me. Doing whatever is required to keeps the sprogs out of harms way even if it means wrong way round a roundabout.
@Lind Blair - that may be, but the video nevertheless was *not* of an English roundabout, as can be seen from the placement of the yield markings on the road - just another case of grabbing images/video clips that don't actually represent what the video is about.
@staehodgin I did drive them as well. What's your max length ? Ours is 23m and 53 tonnes. Forgot to say ours are tractor and two trailers, 3 axle towing a two axle and a five axle at the end. I suppose we might have it a bit easier 🤗
I know there is actually a center which test a parent if they can handle a baby. But that was taken when a woman is already pregnant. There is also a baby doll that looks like a baby and weigh like a baby, maybe they could get that to practice their parenthood.
It's fair I think that most of us look for almost all the same characteristics when we need help to take care of our dear ones. In my opinion the requirements are great
Of course they need to hire the high standard nannies because they are going to take care a "ROYAL PRINCE" & "ROYAL PRINCESS" that's so very understandable!!
As CHRISTians we are ALL KINGS KIDS . Do you really know how the royalty blood started - they were the winners of a big battle back in the gladiator days or before - they had kneeled and spoke praise to the conquer/ winner of the war / battle . It was than all the off spring took suit with that honor and leadership . Do your research on the beginning of royalty .

Cassie Gray on the other hand, could you imagine a 'royal mother' changing a diaper? Or waking up in the middle of the night to attend to her crying baby? That's what real mothers do for their children and what royal nannies do instead of the royal children's own mother
@@PhoenixRiviera I got to be honest with you I had to look after someone's children because I'm their Aunt. There are many countries that still spank/hit their children, but they do this and explained later to the children why. It doesn't mean violence (unless you do that every single time). Sometimes you tend to spank children out of fear especially if they did something that could hurt them. You're angry because of what they did but you're basically just afraid that they might do something and hurt themselves. I know parents who spank their kids and these kids were bright and respectful kids. They know that there are consequences on their actions and they tend to be more understandable and sensitive to other people's feelings. They know that parents do it out of love.
Spanking is lazy parenting and I came from a home where I was spanked. It shows lack of communication skills and self control. No wonder why old people have no communication skills and self control.
I wasnt expecting this to turn into propaganda for bashing spanking. And no. Spanking is not a bad thing. I was spanked and Im a very respectful, responsible, polite woman with good manners and Im not violent in any sense of the word. There is a correct way to go about it. But what can you expect from people who are paying someone else to raise their children? I'm a stay at home mom to two children, one of whom is special needs
I agree but still its wrong its like bullying yes you can say bullying has a good effect cause it can make you grow braver, stronger etc but like I said its like bullying its not normal and natural for a kid to be spanked because its up to the kids to be responsible and know what is right and what is wrong they can be responsible mature etc if you teach them to be that and not using violence against them. Its just an opinion and I guess I'm looking forward to what you think about this.
There’s no “right” way to hit a child when they misbehave just as there’s no “right” way to hit your spouse when they do something wrong. There’s literally decades of interdisciplinary research showing it’s ineffective and harmful.
I think it is sad that these kids will be raised by nannies and not by their parents. In reality these kids probably only spend a couple of hours a week with their parents and when they are 12 they will be sent off to boarding school. They will grow up seeing their parents as virtual strangers.
Norland nannies are basically the Harvard equivalent. It's very expensive and takes 4 years to get through their program. It's intense and they are the best for a reason.
'For them she not just a hired worker, the nanny is another member of the Royal family' well I should hope so SHE IS RAISING YOUR children! this guy LOL! A good spanking never hurt anybody!
I stopped at no spanking or grabbing hands. Ridiculous. Try and reason with a 2 year old. My kids are the most well behaved i am complimented constantly. They are happy, calm, bold, sure of themselves and confident. Well mannered and well spoken. They never show any physical aggression or so much as touch another unless they are helping them or hugging them. And Yes. I spnked them when it was necessary.
spanking is not violent. It means to teach them there are consequence. This is why my lil cousin bullies Prince George even in public and yet it's allowed. It was not allowed in my family. You did get a spanking. Even my children got them too.

Lol not all of them are royals, most of them are business people. Yes all children are precious but if you had the money, you would do exactly the same: giving the best to your kids.
We are all special and deserve the best care.. but do we give the best care ?
Yes we are certanly ❤
LaborInLove: We do what we can.
I am so thankful I raised my own children. They know who their own mother really is. We grew up with getting a spanking when we had it coming. There is a very big difference between abuse & a spanking. Sadly, there seems to be some people who are unable to tell the difference.
Cindy w I'm glad you were able to afford staying home. That is not possible for everyone, including myself. My baby will have to be cared for by someone else while my husband and I work. Also, the kids I've babysat for always knew their mother, so your comment confuses me. Lastly, I too was spanked and unfortunately developed mild anxiety from the experience.
Exactly, plus most of the kids i know who never got spanked. Ended up becoming more violent because they were spoiled and coddled and use to getting what they want so when reality hit them it was over
Corporal punishment is a gateway to abuse. You see the difference, but like you said some won’t be able to tell the difference.
I agree with you. Spanking is waaaay different from abusing a child. Thank God, you stepped up😊people can't really tell the difference 😥
@@Boss_etc853 true
with all the stress and sacrifice they go through they're still not paid enough.
Number two is discipline. Yeah someone can mistake that as abuse but I’ve learned my lessons with my parents and grandparents.
Spanking is lazy parenting.
Love it! Well discipline and educated plus protected
Makes me wonder does the parents ever take care of there kids like they always seem to be flying of places
Waaa i should have choose this kind of job. I mean not only working with child but i'll get lots benefits from here... experience, knowledge, self-defense, and the working ethics
these seem like qualities of a really smart girl
Check out the requirements for entry on the school’s website
I think they are certainly reasonable and quite thorough. I definitely approve.
I wouldn’t really like to be a royal nanny but I think those things are reasonable
If I had children and want to hire a nanny these Annys are the best
Oh can i hire a Anny?
I was worried about the nanny-interrupting-mommy connection, but the video covered that. I want a nanny for sure.
Royal Nannie has no life 🤣
Royal Nannie has work for about 20 years and afterwards never has to work again.
Aracelli Piccio is a Filipino who was a nanny to Prince William and Prince Harry. I wonder if she was a graduate of that school. If not, she still was a great nanny to both princes that she became the only Filipino invited during Kate and William's wedding.
No way I would want to be a nanny for the royals!
Don't worry. No danger of that happening.
@Linda Ketner: I thought I was the only one wondering why anybody would want this job.
@@yasminbarry7941 you become part of the royal family.
@@@spiritangasan267: Yes, you are right, they become part of the royal family. Without having to worry too much about the public eye, which is probably great.
No way I want to be a nanny!! Never ever again, lol
How marvellous it must be for the Royals. Hand their kids over to Nanny and have only the fun and joy of children, none of the work!!! I hear that Kate has a Night Nanny when she comes home from hospital with a new baby, so her nights are not disturbed!!! WOW Must be wonderful.
Not so wonderfull for the nanny.
The nanies have to be gentle not to hurt the kids and they have to be strict it is so amazing
Basically Royal Nanny like a Super womens 😂😂🤣🤣
Literally
They have those robot babies in the high schools where i live. They send the baby home for a week with the 10th grader. Ive had 3 in the last 3 years. They cry 2 to 3 times a night. Its hystrical watching them roll out of bed to stop the "baby" crying.
I’d love to be a royal Nannie. Looks like an amazing career 💕
I used to be a nanny. I was even a nanny in the city of Bath where Norlan College is based. I applied to be trained there however I was turned down as I suffer from acute migraines 😭
I think it’s ok to grab a child’s hand if their doing something *SUPER DANGEROUS* like poke Godzilla’s toes 🤣😂🤣😂
Every child is equal.
not here, royals children have to face treats and sometime attacks. That's why they should be that protected.
Not every wallet is. And the royal babies have it worse than "normal" babies. They can't chose.
Know what is the best parenting in the whole world????
Learn urself to...
"Be a good parent"
I forgot that we used to say "spill the beans" and not tea 🤠
Where can I find a robot is baby for my granddaughter? A baby doll that can wee, cry and shed tears isn't real enough to satisfy her mothering instinct.....! She's 7!
I want to be a royal nanny now!😂 they are amazing😍
yeah but it's hard work
Heads up: in the UK we drive on the left and do not drive anti clockwise around a roundabout!
Do Americans even have roundabouts ?
A horse with no name: Well it's a video supposedly about the UK Royal nannies and has a section about how good their driving must be. However it shows a woman driving in a different country,
Not necessarily - looks like avoidance of danger driving to me. Doing whatever is required to keeps the sprogs out of harms way even if it means wrong way round a roundabout.
@Lind Blair - that may be, but the video nevertheless was *not* of an English roundabout, as can be seen from the placement of the yield markings on the road - just another case of grabbing images/video clips that don't actually represent what the video is about.
@staehodgin
I did drive them as well. What's your max length ? Ours is 23m and 53 tonnes.
Forgot to say ours are tractor and two trailers, 3 axle towing a two axle and a five axle at the end. I suppose we might have it a bit easier 🤗
That nanny looks so happy!
Has anyone ever watched “The Nanny” with Bette Davis? Nanny is going to give you your bath...😱
Great film...
Nanny : I’m invincible!!! 9 degree black belt: Your going down Nanny!!!
Every mother should get s robot baby before getting pregnant so they noe the baby will be safe like if u agree
chloe morrison i am not agree
And what about the dad?
I know there is actually a center which test a parent if they can handle a baby. But that was taken when a woman is already pregnant. There is also a baby doll that looks like a baby and weigh like a baby, maybe they could get that to practice their parenthood.
well the dads too
Both males and females should.
Miyuki the_Swiftie ofc
As CHRISTians we are ALL KINGS KIDS . Do you really know how the royalty blood started - they were the winners of a big battle back in the gladiator days or before - they had kneeled and spoke praise to the conquer/ winner of the war / battle . It was than all the off spring took suit with that honor and leadership . Do your research on the beginning of royalty .
I nannied a 5 year old girl named Lilah and a 2 year old girl called Sally for the weekend while their mother and father got married i got to go to the wedding which was stunning and got to stay in a nice fancy hotel, and all the costs were covered! It was awsome! (I was invited to the wedding because it was my aunts and uncles wedding but i was told to look after the children) i had the best time and we got to swim in a pool!
WOW When i went for my interview They asked me ''' How do l like children'' I said ''Preferably Boiled""" I didnt get the job Still wondering why
🤣🤣🤣
It’s necessary to have someone who takes care of ur child and never have to worry
Patience, helpfulness and finesse as well as a great education.
Number 3 is pretty normal, I signed a contract to say I cannot talk about the company I work for to the media including social media
🤣😂😅. I was a spanked child and I turned out perfect. My parents raised me to actually respect my elders and to be responsible.
Well I was never spanked and I turned out great ( I think )
They're other ways to teach children
I believe that these rules are reasonable. I mean, we talk about royal family. These are great ideas for rules.
l.p. hy8 to
With so many images of Will & Kate to choose from, it's odd that their wax figures were used
lol
I absolutely love the norland nannies and actually have thought about becoming one in the past.
I want a royal nanny to take care of me
Oh yes, if I had known about this collage before and I had been much younger...
Royal nannies are the real WIFE MATERIAL. 👸
Very insightful. Thank you
Royal Norland Nannies must have “unblemished past and “no rumours.” They didn’t demand that from ‘someone’ whom married into the family.
Lady Jane or is an actual royal...
Woaaahh then if I would be, I will be proud to be a nanny 😍😆
Prince Andrew is the Queens second Son, Prince Edward is her third Son.!!!
No nanny can be better than a mom.
From where do you get this information when no one tells you
I am from the royal family
Just freaking out😂😂
I think they should take care of their own kids.
2:50 nannies can be male to and I’m surprised no one has pointed this out
IKR!!!
perfect rules for handling kids
specially the royal kids
It is reasonable and make sense 👍🏻
Excellent !!!
No Royal family nanny with camera in the house if no camera 🎥Daycare please.
According to some websites, their salary is around $55.000 per year. Not bad at all...
Why? So a stranger can raise you instead of your own biological mother? The rich orphans...
PhoenixRiviera. I agree. I believe the kids will be more attached to the babysitter than their parents.
But hey, my nieces are so attached to me because I interact with them and I play and color with them. I had a 3 or 4 year old niece who is so attached to me and she doesn't interact with her mom because she rather spend time on watching her shows and going to bed. My niece is name is Syreneti. She's sweet and loving and caring. She would always watch princesses movies with her. She's not that attached to Meaghan who's my adopted sibling. Children who has been raised and looked after they can be emotionally attached to the person who spend time with them. That's what my nieces did.
Kate and William do that. Kate is breastfeeding Louie still although she had to cut back when se ws expected to go back on her schedule
PhoenixRiviera Parents do better with help but they don't need that much.
No nanny, no day care FAMILY LOVE IS THE BEST for a baby/kid !!!!!!!!!!!
The title should be:
*HOW TO BECOME A ROYAL NANNY*
thank you for a very revealing things about royal nannies.
There is no such thing like royal, king, sultan or whatever you call. We are all equal and there is no one but absolutely no one has superiority period!!!! 🙄
I agree! And you know what religion Islam is the only religion that teaches this equality
@@Xoxo-cg7kr Islam? That's what you understood of my comment and video you watched? So you related everything come cross in your life to islam? I hope you have knowledge before have an idea! Btw only in Islam teaches we all equal regardless your religion or skin color. Aducate your self!!

Thank you for the very important information. Hoping i can work there. All the videos information i have in my personality.💕💕💕
Now I want to be a royal nanny, and I could, but I don’t have any experience with kids besides my siblings, but I am just 14
How much do you think salary and benefits being nanny?
uuuuuummmmmm
probably in excess of 150,000 sterling
not that much.
Wow! Nanny so cool!
No thanks I like my sleep and value my alone time. Mostly enjoy my freedom which no money can buy😊
They hit your head while spanking, didn't they?
@@anitafrieda no.
@@jeremiahsandiego4811 its not bullying if you do it constructively.
There’s no “right” way to hit a child when they misbehave just as there’s no “right” way to hit your spouse when they do something wrong. There’s literally decades of interdisciplinary research showing it’s ineffective and harmful.
This is what every child should get ❤️ strong+ honest parents relationship and care
I think it is sad that these kids will be raised by nannies and not by their parents. In reality these kids probably only spend a couple of hours a week with their parents and when they are 12 they will be sent off to boarding school. They will grow up seeing their parents as virtual strangers.
have you not seen the photos of william and harry growing up with their parents? did they really look like they were interacting with strangers??
Norland nannies are basically the Harvard equivalent. It's very expensive and takes 4 years to get through their program. It's intense and they are the best for a reason.
'For them she not just a hired worker, the nanny is another member of the Royal family' well I should hope so SHE IS RAISING YOUR children! this guy LOL! A good spanking never hurt anybody!
Okay, would you be okay with your partner spanking you for something you did wrong? No, then don't di it to your child. Lazy parenting.
Gosh, i can't even be a nanny in the future...
