This is so creative and impressive, just how could anyone come up with such an absurd and fascinating idea

Our ancient ancestors held more wisdom than we often realize.

That makes sense. So in doing so, you create a story with preset dialogue based on each philosophers teachings to lead you back to a conclusion. Fascinating.

Thanks for your post and yes, it is a powerful technique. I've used it since 1997 to come up with lots of ideas I don't think I would have any other way. It's like turning a combination to unlock potentials waiting within.

Not relevant to the video but I've solemnly found out that memory techniques make you quite resilient against gaslighting, it's kinda obvious when you hear it but not so much when you're looking for an armament against gaslighting

This is similar to how I use oracle and tarot cards!

This might be a bit unrelated, but do you know if it is possible to improve working memory? Like memorizing things unconsciously. We can use mnemonics to turn short term memory into strong medium term memory, but is it possible to increase our overall working memory so our short term memory last longer?

We do "learn" some things unconsciously (implicit memory), but it's hard to make claims about short term memory specifically. If you want it to last longer, I suggest learning to be highly conscious around how you pay attention and learn to use mnemonic tools to capture and chunk the key pieces of information you want to retain.
Does this way of looking at things make sense and help you out?

This is definitely a civilizational illness. Focus is the foundation for committing to memory. And our modern lives are full of anxiety and distraction which take away from it.
To be more attentive I started doing meditation (so far 10 min a day for 5 months) and it definitely has had an impact, though not as much as I'd like just yet.
If you haven't tried that yet then I highly recommend the waking up app to get started. I am planning to go on a retreat now for some deeper progress.
Oh and physical exercise is also not to be underestimated.
      Good luck :)
