when i commited to using remnote over 2 years ago, i didn't think it would have gotten this good. so far i am just constantly amazed by how well every feature is pulled off. thank you remnote team!
I didn't notice Remnote as a notetaking tool at first. But now I feel like it fulfills all my expectations. You absolutely deserve more following. The absolutely wettest dream I'd have was if you made an infinite canvas that felt just as well as the rest of the app.
Remnote seems very underrated. I don't think people realize how powerful it is to combine note taking with flashcards in a single app. It really is a game changer.
Thank you for this great learning app. Thanks to your app, I have a better average at school than I could ever imagine. Thanks to your app, I now have the chance to study medicine if things continue like this. Thank you, greetings from Germany
With every update, I feel more amazed. My only regret is that I did not know about RemNote during my preparatory years, it could have made a lot of difference. The RemNote team is doing so well. I feel glad to be a part of this. Thank you😊😊
Thx for fixing the hint feature!!! Only downside to all these updates is I feel compelled to bring my old cards up to speed 😂 My favorite tool for preclerkship!
Hi, thanks for an excellent memory tool. Regarding hints, I was wondering whether you could add a simple "Hint" button to the front and/or back of a card, which could be pressed if you are struggling to remember the item and the software would then reveal the hint? Doing it this way means that hints can be added on card creation and do not need to be removed as you improve. This would mean that the hints would always be available should your memory lapse in the future.
I really love remnote, long time user - so happy to see all the improvements and response to feedback. Just wanted to query extra card detail - currently I use it to add information to the card that I don't want to test myself on. Eg. I am asking a question regarding the difference between preseptal and orbital cellulitis and I want to include an image of where the septum is for my reference. However, when I type the command for extra card detail it removes the line containing one of my answers from the card, or if it is a single-line card it will revert the card back to a heading with an ancestor. I'm just wondering if this system could be smoothed out a little bit, to properly accommodate extra card details?
I'm really excited to use this! I have some questions though, when learning multiple subjects, how in the world can you keep up with the review schedule? Do you need to set aside time every day to review the cards? Is the practice to create cards as you are learning/reading? Also, does Remnote have a way to integrate with a calendar app? If not, then that would be an AWESOME feature to add!
It would be so nice to be able to export my notes in pdf or in a word format and keeping the titles, color, highlights so I can print my notes too!! 🤩🙏🏼
One question why the repetition duration is changing in remnote, I remember a couple of weeks before it stretched to 1 year for easily recalled and now it changed again!!
Another comment just because I think it would make Remnote super great: As someone who's in the medical field (think this applies elsewhere too), I love to do comparative tables. I like the table feature currently, but was wondering if there is a way to make cards within the app that compares features of each of the points on the table. Currently, I am trying to compare features (example, clinical features of ulcerative colitis vs. Crohns) and would like to be able to have property A compared to Property B (both answers occluded) as a card. Would something like this be possible?
That's an interesting point - Personally I'll generally do a descriptor here like: Chrons contrast with ulcerative colitis;; Blah... It is a bit hard to do from the table though. In your idea, how would you like to specify what pairs of rows to contrast with each other?
@@RemNote I don't think it would need to be too complicated, perhaps it's even a feature already available that I don't understand how to use but if you had your full table in view, with two headings at the top of the columns "UC and CD" and then in the rows your different points: "Genetic mutations" (next line) "Clinical features" (next line) "extra-intestinal" etc. then you could answer column A and then coumn B (I stress again, full table in view - strong believer in visual aids - many people describe "seeing a table" or page in their exam and remembering content from that. Currently I am making a table in PowerPoint and image occluding it (I would share an example but can't attach photos here) but would love to be able to do this natively. Does that make sense? Regardless, long-time user (since before we had any of the cool features) really appreciate the receptiveness to feedback!

:D You don't need to use them all! Don't let the features get in the way of your studying haha
Excellent! You added exactly those features that used to use in Anki.
Sooo good! Everything in one place!!! Greedings from Brazil!!!
Hints for cloze deletion are very useful! Thank you for adding this feature!
It's insane that this is JUST available but ALSO more INSANE that I am JUST needing and seeking out software that can do this! THANK YOU!
every release is amazing with a lot of new features!
I used to use anki before i found remnote so the anki import is a lifesaver 🙏

That's an interesting idea! That could definitely be built as a plugin too, but we'll also think about it on our end.

bro didn't you just release a major update T_T y'all need to get some sleep
still more features to make tho
amazing
While everyone else is focused on useless AI features, RemNote is out here doing god's work
nice

4:44 TIINY little thing, but is it possible to randomize the order when multiline cards are asked. (having it as an option.)
7:45 Can I change how many new cards for EACH deck?
Ex.: I want "Academic Papers" to add 20 new cards/day, but "Book Quotes" to add 10 cards/day.
Not yet, but we're considering adding that next

GPT LLM integration?
Soon! 👀
This video gave me a headache! I think I would spend more time learning remnote then I would by just studying my subject without anything.
Learning remote not3 is harder than learning calculus, I ain't using it 😢
Lol just stick with Question==Answer cards!
trust me it's well well worth learning
may seem daunting but seriously not that hard
martin i love you, but since 4 years you have the same cut... bro... patch also your style :P
i can't, my memories are stored in my hair :(
