$300 for good orchestra seats. This was good but I need to know that the set is elaborate with set changes (like POTUS the play).

I don't understand the appeal of Colton Ryan as a musical theatre performer. I saw him in "Alice by Heart" and his singing and acting was very weak. Still, he seems to be everywhere, landing all these major roles. What am I missing?
Personally I disagree completely, I love his singing voice and think he brought a beautiful subtlety and sadness to Alice by Heart - which is one of my favourite musicals and criminally underrated in my mind. He certainly has a unique way of acting - I would say quiet? But by that I mean he brings a nuance that isn’t flashy but is purposefully small - idk if that makes sense but I think it makes perfect sense that in a huge all singing all dancing show, casting someone with these skills can ground and centre the production - making it feel more human

I saw it. They should have made it about her not him. It was just okay. Very difficult to root for him. Some beautiful parts but def not with him.
I love his singing. His acting seems more suited for quiet dramatic films rather than the Broadway stage. If he could bring the energy up to match his vocals, then I'd be all in.
I saw him two weeks ago and thought he did amazing.
