I love this game so much man, recently went back and got some of the trophies I left behind and finally got the platinum yesterday. Also getting back into trophy hunting, enjoying your content as well.
Nice! It’s such a great game, the only thing I regret about this video is not pushing through to do the DLC trophies. I’ll be doing Forbidden West early next year with an interesting stipulation so I’m excited to play that for the first time. Glad you’re enjoying the content!

For anyone playing Horizon Zero Dawn it’s important to buy “maps” at any merchant since they will pin ALL locations of every collectible on your map, even in the Frozen Wilds add on there are maps for the bluegleams, animal figurines, and pigments from a merchant up the wall at the very first location in the frozen wilds.
I platinumed, and 100% the frozen wilds of Horizon just today and beat it on Ultra Hard new game plus.
For sure! Definitely something I should’ve mentioned, the maps make the platinum significantly easier

Not for nothing but easy plat. Great game. I like that the game doesn't demand you do everything! It introduced new ideas but the true incentives came if you finished the quest lines

It took some time but it really flew by, with the way the story unfolds it made the hunt feel pretty seamless.
I remember being really invested in the current story and unveiling what happened in the past. However, the sequel's story didn't grip me in the same way
@@mattsully2238 I've heard that Forbidden West isn't nearly as well-done, that's what kept me from getting it awhile back. I'm going to do the Platinum for it before the year ends but I'm not nearly as excited to do it as I was for this one.
@@ItzSweetTrav if you liked the first, you'll like the second. The narrative just wasn't as strong but the moment for moment gameplay loop is stronger then ever
When I played this I meant sure I didn't. Finish the main quest Until everything was done first so that way, I got the platinum at the very end of the main Main story and I did the same thing for Horizon forbidden west
That’s how I play most games tbh, I’m working on Spider-Man 2018 atm and spent all of last night doing every collection possible, I’m barely 40% through the story lol

@@yourlovekai Honestly I took the easy way & found someone to do them for me. I used to make my own when I was mainly focusing on my baseball channel but it made more sense to have someone else do these. Photoshop is a great tool with TONs of videos out there, definitely worth looking into.

40 hours for the platinum? I tried doing it all on Ultra hard difficulty and it only took me 120 hours and countless times saying: "FUUUUUUUCK!!!"

My next platinum trophy will be Horizon just as I planned but rn i'm getting the Uncharted:Lost Legacy platinum.
Uncharted is such a great series! I'm going to be diving into Drake's story probably early-mid next year. Lost Legacy is actually the only game from that series I haven't had the chance to play.

I got the platinum it's not hard but long if you Don't buy golden travel pack which makes it 10x faster and i had to search where to find metal flowers, etc after finishing the game i found out that i can buy a map 🤦🏻♂️🤣🤣🤣

How long does it take to complete platinum
I got it done in roughly 40 hours, I know some who’ve gotten it done in a little less. I’d say the range is anywhere from 35-50 hours total.
