Just started my journey with this game as ex-Destiny 2 player. After few days I'm still confused by all the names, fractions, lore parts but the gameplay is amazing.
With Roar, you only need 255 strength for the reap nuke to deal full health% damage. 55 from intensify + 25 from growing power + 60 from augmented, and only 1 tau red shard is needed to cap it off.
@@darkmugetsu6572 anything less than 100% is unable to kill enemies. If it's 99%, then you will always just deal 99% of their current HP which is never a kill. Usually low level missions are okay to skate by on the blast damage finishing off the last % you are missing but its not always enough. Double casting does not equate to double true damage on the nuke. This is why Roar is used to bump the number up to the full 100 so it can actually kill.
@@skeltaldelegate5408 interesting as in many cases with both augments without roar I wipe out an entire room with a single cast due to them being in close proximity with each other causing them to be damaged by each others SOW detonations.
@@darkmugetsu6572 the health-based true % damage is not AOE, the blast effect which is not true damage, is. However that blast effect doesn't deal nearly as much damage and falls off in later levels. It is useful for cleaning up the leftovers but only in high concentrations, which is a condition that is not always available. The last thing you want is to be damage-gated by a single enemy when you're used to annihilating levelcap crowds.
@@darkmugetsu6572 the point of the augment combo is to create a cascading effect wherein the "on-kill" sow effect from Dark Propagation is triggered more easily and frequently, rather than just trying to trigger the explosion and not the spread.
Highly recommend filling the nautilus slot with reinforced bond. IMPORTANT: need maxed calculated redirection for this to be worthwhile, but easily pushes nautilus into the best sentinel conversation. (Yes even without the crit chance verglas riven shenanigans)
Sup brosky. Your Sevagoth looks sick. I personally slot in 4 Tau Azures for armor, he feels so squishy even with adaptation to me, maybe I'm just trash with him.
12:50 this is not how Follow Through works, it applies to all attacks not just heavies and the damage is reduced via multiplication so in this example the first hit would deal 100%, the second 75%, the third 56.25%, the forth 42.1875% and so on. 100% Follow Through is still one of the best stats that you can have on a melee though
Lol ur using hp and shield mods on 10 second regening sentinels instead of amazing bond mods like duplex n momentous bond and ur sevagoth build is too expensive and your archon shards arent ideal imo. Casting speed and preparation tau for shard r ideal arcane blessing and arcnae guardian r ideal for both sevagoth and his shadow. Run triple umbra on shadow and forget the wasted exilus mod they rnt very helpful
Im running this exact build. What I found in steel path is that I get one shot alot right through gloom and adapt. Im considering taking off prime continuity and replacing it with a 3 stack of Umbra mods. How has this build been working for you as far as the random one shot?
The shield gate function in the game should prevent that, but I like to place sevagoth so mobile and with my companion nautilus running shivering contagion they don’t have the opportunity to one shot me anytime I’m within the vicinity of an enemy. They are being primed with cold damage and that’s an aoe debuff. For me when making a warframe build I’m not just looking at the frame and what I can solo and do with just the frame itself. I consider my weapons and my companions and my operator skill tree. I consider all of those things when making videos like this. The frame doesn’t have to do it all.
Reap detonates on cast the duration important for your shadows to run around the map and hit additional targets. If your durations too low you shouldn’t be running shadow haze to begin with because they won’t have enough time to find any enemies. the more duration the more time that you have your “up to three shadows” running around and find targets to detonate. It’s actually really important to have duration on sevagoth

Sevagoth can be really clunky until full build, but he scales surprisingly well for endgame. Wish he was not so squishy though.

i was painting the picture of how it worked, not worked exactly. i used values of 25 to make it easy to understand.

Why is your duration so high? Don't you need it lower for your dark and haze to nuke quicker?
