Rich really stretched it out on this one. Best case scenario for any team is always win the SB, but realistically I would say Ravens best case is get to the SB, Bengals is get to the AFC championship, Browns would be to win their Division, and Steelers would be to get a Wild Card.
Shitsburgh and The Browns are absolutely not Super Bowl contenders.
@@ShimmyD-u7g The Browns have a surprising amount of talent. If Watson returns to MVP form, they could make a splash. I highly doubt that happens, but it is possible.
Why can't Bengals win SB? Burrow is in the elite tier right behind Mahomes, they brought back most of the defensive squad from 2021. They brought in two very good looking tackles, Mims and Brown, so the O-line should actually be good this season. Probably have the best receiving core in the league. Chase, Higgens, Gesicki.
AFC North has been the strongest division in the NFL for basically 15 years, if not a longer.
Best case scenario all these teams stay healthy. This division beats the snot out of each other every year. So many key injuries last year and still 3 teams made the playoffs.
The AFC North was the only division where all the teams ended with a winning record. That’s the first time that has happened in a long long time. It is the hardest division in football.
The division was a weak AFC East schedule away from sending ALL 4 teams to the post season and only the Ravens had their starting QB. It's not even a debate. May not have the flashiest players or the household names that other divisions have but as far as the TEAMS go, it's not close.

And that was despite massive injuries and one of the hardest schedules, playing the other 2 best divisions in the league
And the Steelers went 5-1 in that division and are predicted to finish last. Again. They haven't finished last since I was 12. I'm 48 now.

Still don't know why the NFL doesn't do like the MLB & have a QB centric award as the MLB has the Cy Young for pitchers, allowing the MVP to go to a position player.
Doesn't matter in the NFL as the MVP is pretty much always going to be a QB due to the importance of the position. So even if they created a best QB award, the MVP, if you go by the spirit of it being "most valuable player", is still in almost every case going to be a QB.

Best case scenario for all teams is to stay fairly healthy and if that happens I say the Bengals have the best shot. But the whole division is tough and really any of the four teams could win it.

well watson does rank 53rd in pff grade and 38th in qbr over the last 2 years. So that tells you he has played terrible.
Pittsburgh *might* be the biggest stretch here, but in the Happy World of Best Case Scenario...why not Russ? He could still one great season left in him! Or what if Fields turns out to be The Guy and finally sheds all those exasperating mistakes he made in Chicago.

I do not see the Steelers winning the Superbowl under any scenario...even the best case one. The last (and I think only) quarterback to win the Superbowl with a new team in their first year with that team; Tom Brady. Russ Wilson is NOT that guy.

Ravens lost a few players but are still the top dogs in the AFC North untill their dethroned . @@nonya6022 I would hold up on the Peyton Manning comparison. Lamar is not remotely comparable to Manning passing the ball and we all know it is a passing league. Records have a lot to do with team and Lamar has had the top defense last year in points allowed 2nd in two other years and 3rd in two other years. Manning never had that luxury. The only year their defense wasn't top 3 was 2021 and Lamar went 7-5, the team missed the playoffs, and Lamar was out the end of the season.

Browns can't talk about Steelers play off last time they did play off was They have had only four winning seasons (2002, 2007, 2020, and 2023), three playoff appearances (2002, 2020, and 2023), and one playoff win (2020), winning less than one third of their games in total, and in 2017 were only the second team in NFL history to have a 0-16 season after the 2008 Detroit Lions.
