Minnesota Rancher. Great video! Loved watching the dogs work multiple tasks. They seem to have that rare balance between respect and aggression that makes a great working dog. And so true about the challenges of keeping the little tikes alive. Good luck!
Great work by the dog to round up the goats there. Not a bad day, cats dogs pigs and a goat. great work keep it up. It's good to see the pup owns the front seat now😂
Your dogs are herders, pushers, scent markers, and pig catchers. Also, great companions. Jacks of all trades. You're having a good start on this trap line. 2 pigs, 2 cats, and a dog. Good luck.
Howdy Clark 🤠 BIG property you're covering!! as you've noted, it's a "know the animal" string of events that gets the results... and you do!!! Quilp is going to be a stunning dog!! Mossie and Brandon are maturing daily, and it's amazing to see their progress... Praying for the world to get its act together--I think we're on the way ✝️✝️✝️✝️ Safe travels, friends ❤❤ Stay FROSTY... Keep your powder dry and your head on a swivel... 🇺🇸🇦🇺WWG1WGA🇺🇸🇦🇺NCSWIC🇺🇸🇦🇺
I agree!! A few days to the start of better times... or the loonie left will try some more stunts to bring it all into chaos once more. Going to be a very interesting 2025. As you say, Keep your powder dry...
not ideal but 2 cats 2 pigs and a dog cant be scoffed at. hard earned in a very tough environment. the dogs are champions Clark , worked as good as any "sheep dog" ive ever seen , had those goats no worries. and then they take on a mob of heifers and sorted them too. You've got the toughest job in Australia. All the best for the New Year to you Judy + the gang
Thanks for another great Tuesday Clark. I'm looking forward to my late Christmas present on the long weekend. Finally getting to try my not so new Howa. Hopefully this time when I see pigs the rifle will be in my hand and not in the boot. Happy New year to you,Judy, Josie and the rest of your friends and family. Regards Mark from Redlands
Have seen cattle work them out, step carefully between each run but most simply see it as a barrier not to cross. Dogs learn and hunger is a great educator
A heck of a lot of pressure has been put on these dogs to try and clear them out of the area. I'm coming in as "tail end Charlie" but we end up getting them.
With regard guns getting dusty when cleaned, you might like to take a tip from cyclists. You see, over recent years a company has done some actual decent experimental work on chain lubricants (as opposed to years of fiddle-arsing around and guessing) and have worked out that for a chain in a dirty environment dry wax lubricants are the way to go. The same is probably true of firearms in dusty environments; a wax will carry on lubricating and won't pick up dust as easily. So, have a look at bike lubes like Squirt and other evaporating-carrier waxes; they go on as a liquid then when the carrier has evaporated you're left with the wax, most of which then flakes off leaving just a thin layer of lube. Graphite lubes are another one to look at; once again the lubricant is dry so doesn't attract dirt.
Hi Clark it always amazes me how many people want to give you the trapper advise you been doing this for years my thinking is you must know what you’re doing otherwise you go broke chasing your tail , and the farmers wouldn’t get you in to trap the dingoes anyway that’s enough for me I just can’t stand these keyboard expert don’t know everything about everything , Keep up the good work brother Cliff from Logan city Queensland Australia. I’m on the big island

I find graphite powder is the best for me in really bad dusty going Clark.👍
Righto, intend to get some soon
Awesome stuff! 2 cats, a dog and 2 pigs!
Another interesting run. All similar, all different. Are the goats exported or do we have a market here? Keep going mate. Mossy is an outstanding dog.

Lots of knowledge thanks for sharing been really interesting to follow how you work a new place out. What brand is that wooly vest you wear.
Home made in Canada by a local lady in Smithers. They are simply the best
Great video Clark....Do you catch many pigs in traps or do they tend to pull out?
Great work Clark, all the best for '25 to you and the team, looking forward to the 20th.
Soooo looking forward to the 20th. What crazy stuff will the loonie tunes come up with to wreck things??
It would be nice to have an idea of the area you are working in as Victorian who go's toQld for winter love your dog's and your channel thanks
Live near Kingaroy, work from NSW to far North Qld. Give us a call when you are up this way
👌👌👍
It's a tough world and it's an old dog for a hard road mate
👍🇬🇧👍
Hi just wondering what ammo do u use or prefer for the 22
Can’t the cows see the grid? Why do they have difficulty crossing it? And what about the dingoes?
Have seen cattle work them out, step carefully between each run but most simply see it as a barrier not to cross. Dogs learn and hunger is a great educator
The first Trappin’ Tuesday of 2025!
On my way home now, stopped for a few hours fishing a tide, 6 dogs in 4 nights
Gday mate
Day back atcha mate !!
People do not realise how much damage cats in the country 🙏🙏🇦🇺
Exactly
Do you think dingoes killed the dead cow? Also, it looked pretty rank will they keep feeding on it?
No it died of other causes but yes, once it decays back to a more stable mess, they love the cartilage and sinews
Mate where do you get the sqweeker from pls ?
Dave and Tracy Randall, Professional Trapping Supplies at Molendinar, Gold Coast
Thankyou
Clark, can you set to no age restriction? or is this a youtube thing? thanks.
Yep, some "Fact checker" saw a dead pig at 22min
What Cal are you useing ?
Why not try INOX Clark. It would appear to be good enough for the US army. Cheers, Jim
Bit too much scent on it, gets on my hands and onto the traps
It's almost like the dogs on this place have been educated or something.
A heck of a lot of pressure has been put on these dogs to try and clear them out of the area. I'm coming in as "tail end Charlie" but we end up getting them.

Most pull out but if you are going to catch them, it will be in a Jake

Hi Clark, can you increase the audio levels in future videos. Cheers
Righto, will lift it a notch
Now for the first time TH-cam on this channel showed me the "this video may be inappropriate for some users" warning. Ai generated?
Some fact checker saw a dead pig at 22min and struck us down. I've tried to type this message 3 times and each time it is deleted
@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry I bet these individuals will happily eat a bacon sandwich.
Age restricted :(
