I’m just confused, because his expression after he says “You got more than you gave, check mate, get finished” his expression looks like he messed up. Can someone enlighten me? Or am I just being silly lol.
He didn't mess up. That lyric was in the pre-broadway version of the play. When Leslie sings this on his own he prefers to sing this over the official broadway.
