Dawlish Sea Wall (27th Aug 21)

A unique view of the new Dawlish sea defences, with the station now nearly protected by the concrete screen.
The area has no public access while the work is in progress. This video shows what is going on at this stretch of the coastal path.
This in an ongoing 80 million project to protect the railway from further wave damage for the next 100 years. Due for completion in 2022.
Although the video might look close, it is over 100 metres from the railway line, as network rail has a no fly policy within 50 metres of the tracks. I have zoomed in during post editing. Video was taken up to the ceiling of 120 metres as that is the maximum height allowed.
