Luved the design and the 'Evil Overlord Snicker'. Even better was seeing your protractor in action again; that is a very functional and marketable design. New sander looks to be in great shape too. Only two disappointments was not hearing you talking while working everything out, and the other would be not catching your daughter's reaction to your 'art work' on film. LOL! Looking forward to next week's project.

I love the design (and the spider)!

That last part is amazing! Of course, the whole thing. But a good ol prank is just amazing!

a little like one I made many years ago, but much better. That one I made is now gone so I guess I will have to make a new one. I love your idea.

Finally something I can do with a spring from my hoard of springs! Thanks for the video.

I love a good spring hoard lol. This one was off an old circular saw guard

That is way better than any paper towel holder I've had! So cool!!!

We need a spider update when applicable!

My oldest was startled, my youngest said it was "adorable" and my wife rolled her eyes at me...

Honestly I'm just going to make one so I can play the spider prank.

What a wicked laugh 😂 🤣. Let us know if your dear wife laughs at that. 😂

Oh, just saw where you said wife rolled eyes. I probably would have screamed. Guess she is aware of your shenanigans. 🤪

I wasn’t crazy about the spring but the way you changed it fixed that for me some. The ending made any disagreements with you a moot point though. Well played sir 🧐

Why is your table saw unable to cut the wood your using ? Poor saw or poor blade ? That is a dangerous combination. Good luck on the resolution

3:05 If you are having that much trouble pushing wood through your saw, then something is very wrong, either your blade is not sharp, or your saw blade is out of alignment. Both the blade and the fence need to be aligned to the miter slots. If it's the wood itself that is pinching the blade, don't try to power through it, or it may kick back and hit you in the face. Take shallow passes and raise the depth of cut with each succeeding pass. This will prevent the wood from pinching the blade and kicking back. Plus it's always good technique to stand on the side of the saw (behind the fence) when pushing wood through if you don't have the riving knife or anti-kickback pawls in place. Once you do it a few times you'll get used to it and it won't be difficult at all.

48 years in “shop joinery” & possibly great for ? a DIY’er but it’s very lengthy & somewhat complicated- so it’s a No from me, trust me there are very quicker and complicated ways of making this! - one simple dovetail on the ends- on Facebook. Has this man escaped from a help center laughing at the end???

While i'm not a fan of the spring, the design would hold up fine unless you live in a house full of feral humans. What would you suggest? Welded angle iron, spring hinges, and deep groove ball bearings? followed by powdercoating? /smh
