    Just curious as to why you didn't use the tristar tester first, once you suspected it (tristar) was bad? Was the short causing the tristar to overheat? Thank you for doing all these educating videos.

    My friend, the problem is not coming from there. It’s a low resistance line this is why it’s beeping. If it’s not for data recovery, try dfu and tell which error. Love ur videos

    • @christozed
      @christozed 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      But how??
      It's not open to go dfu mode

  • @hinelinen
    @hinelinen 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    It's not the GPU!!! GPU lines have a very low resistance. If your above 10ohms, you're good on that line. Check your I2C lines 80mah and bouncing is bad I2C line. Open schematics and check them. I'd also try a DFU mode restore and see if it errors out! Don't always just follow the heat...

      Gpu even beeping in any good motherboard so I agree ☝️

    I think more important then refresh rate is bolometer matrix. If bigger then better.

  • @azhaim3397

    Hello brother allow me to tell you that beeping sound of gpu line is normal because of low resistance .sometimes it could be misleading if you rely entirely on the sound without checking the multimeter reading on diode mode.
    I am quite sure you know all that.but sometimes stress of work..forces us to neglect some details .
    Thanks for sharing with us all these informative videos .

      what can be a better way to test this? ESR meter?

    • @azhaim3397
      @azhaim3397 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just to keep an eye on the reading on the multimeter. Though it reads a low resistance means line is good.still you all hear a beeping sound .

      @@azhaim3397 at what point would you consider there to be an actual short?

      Bearing in mind the resistance of the line.some can be 0.004.

      You have to be efficient and work smart. People who waste time reballing CPUs and show you a 3 minute footage on youtube have allot of time on there hands. Even worse if you did the work then find out CPU is faulty.

      I Graduated from Polytechnic University Brooklyn NY BS in electrical engineering. Schools do not teach repair, however they give you a strong background to lean on to. It's best to learn repair from someone in the business who does repair. We will working on having workshops in the near future. I"ll keep everyone posted.
