jack stratton is an iconoclast and vulfpeck is an unstoppable groove-locomotive. timeless talent and arrangements...I've never been so in awe of a musical group's entire vibe. I'm a confident musician but damn does the talent in this band intimidate/inspire me. wow what a fucking group of absolute professionals. thank god for their rise to fame. they will inspire so many. so much personality in this ensemble
These guys are fantastic, such a breath of fresh air in today's music scene, where freshness is Lacking in a major way! Props Vulfpeck! Keep gettin it and gettin it.....
Man I think I noticed their passion before I even heard their music!! Argh when you put them together its fucking magical! I would literally book a ticket to see them even when I live half way across the world!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nina Nimarota I've only seen them once when I could drive. so... I've done some serious flying to see these guys!!! I never even hesitate. This show is one of my absolute favorites so far! incredible!
I've gorged myself on Live shows by Vulfpeck over the past few months since I found out about how f'n awesome they were... I think this is the best one so far. There is SO much going on. Very impressive stuff. Thanks so much for posting :)
the counterpoint in Wait for the Moment is always a treat but this one is so. awesome. I need to hear this transcribed and played like the bach vision test
The crowd are almost non present there...(see Dublin for what I'm getting at) Like,Vulfie are killin it up there, why don't the crowd have that room shaking?
It's a very small venue which also doubles as a bowling alley. Not on the same level as the venue in their Dean Town Dublin video. I know because I used to work there.
can baarely hear joe dart, this whole performance was mixed pretty awfully a bunch of random dips in volume that made me turn my speakers up, then randomly one instrument would be way too loud, almost ruins it
Just imagine the sax parts from Joey Dosik and Eddie Barbash would not be allowed today because everyone is so scared of something they can't likely be bothered to understand. Impressive? I think feeble and disingenuous at every play.
To the person who kindly filmed this so people like me who couldn't make it can still enjoy the funky freshness that is Vulf,
You, are the hero this world has been searching for.
i take the honor very seriously!! Glad you don't get left out. No one should be.

Hands down the best Vulfpeck performance, ever. Could not stop smiling. :D
The gap between It get's funkier and I wish, totally improvised, it made me cry so beautiful. Thanks vulfpeck

Vulf, Purdie and Rachel Price all together at the same small show in Brooklyn? How in the hell did I miss this one? Amazing.
I am writing a short assignment for my Music History III course on twelve tone music and this is the pick me up I needed.

cannot get over theo's entrance at 33:14, and that high note oh lord
Grinning like an idiot whilst watching this. Fantastic!

FaFaFooey Pittsburgh, yes please @vulf!!!
We really liked rocking out to the Rock Steady back in the late 90's , thanks Mr. Purdie!
Whenever the hitmaker plays with you, you know you’re a tight band.
This is pure gooooold!!! :') Rachel, Bernard and Vulfpeck is just perfect! Thank you for sharing this!
DAMN THIS IS AN AMAZING SHOW!!!
This recording reveals many songs I haven't seen live version of... very nice.
that was amazing to watch & listen to. Definitely a "high value show"
that rock steady with Rachael is unreal
Amazing!
Didn't think I'd see joey blow another man's saxophone today

the counterpoint in Wait for the Moment is always a treat but this one is so. awesome. I need to hear this transcribed and played like the bach vision test
lighting guy absolutely killed it
Cory, please dance like Angus Young....love!!!!!
I love how it starts out with a Spinal Tap reference
I would lose my damn mind if I went to a vulf show and Bernard Purdie came out.
Great vid, wish Joe Dart was a little louder though
He wasn't on the Joe Dart so he didn't know where his volume knob was I think.
Bass sound and Smartphone mics dont go that well together
i can't believe purdy is playing with them, it's kind of like a dream, no, better
Bernard getting impressed with Joe Dart's groove made my day
BERNARD FUCKIN PURDIE
true dat
shuffle master
Jessica Anderson h

J💖ey, como to Brasil to learn to dance, for real....

Legendary show! why is this not released on BLU RAY!

Amazing!! Thanks for posting this. I just wish JOE DART was LOUDER!! Fantastic footage, regardless.
Just listened to "My First Car." I heard Mr. Dart on the Fender Bass. :)
People for a Louder Joe Dart!!
Please come play in upstate New York!!
jesus theo's high register is insane
Theo with the amp leap at 33:15. I can relate.
JOE
DART
ON THE FEN-DER BASS
Fire
this is unreal, them playing with purdie
AwwwyeeahhhhHH!
Theo's drumming on Barbara is so stank that I contracted Funky Pox.
this is so good boYS
Best version of my first car ever
Funky Fire!
HOWFUGGINGSIIIIKKWASTHATBEASTLY? Oh my lord.
that drummer was fuckin' nutso.
Rachel Price
Beautiful voice and her persona is so radiant. Adds to her beauty.
Bernard Purdie. Nuff said.
The crowd are almost non present there...(see Dublin for what I'm getting at)
Like,Vulfie are killin it up there, why don't the crowd have that room shaking?
Dublin is a special place when it comes to that, some of the best crowds ever. Wish I could've been there for the Vulf show.
It's a very small venue which also doubles as a bowling alley. Not on the same level as the venue in their Dean Town Dublin video. I know because I used to work there.
the sound quality is amazing.
Yes of course
why didnt they play dean town at the end lol it was perfect
25:17 Cory’s aquatic Mean Girls solo
I was about to make a smart-ass comment about how there needs to be more Moog on “Boogie,” but nope. Dart is ON IT.
Who played acoustic on "Game Winner"?
isnt Louis Cato the guy from Marcus miller band a few years ago?
can baarely hear joe dart, this whole performance was mixed pretty awfully a bunch of random dips in volume that made me turn my speakers up, then randomly one instrument would be way too loud, almost ruins it
aquatic
3:24 turn that shit up, way up.
Vulf is amazing enough but getting Rachael Price on stage with them? Only thing better would have been Paul Janeway coming out for a few songs.
Purdie always looking for Joe
WTF happened at 1:06:22?? Is the matrix ok?
uhh sharing sax mouthpiece? no thanks. and here I thought vulf could do no wrong (Jk they're still perfect)
Eddie is freakin' Legit.
god do not bless this audio engineer (first time ever saying that in a vulf video)
Depends a lot on the microphone that recorded it. If the sound live was perfect, but the microphone is trashy, it will sound not so great
Damn! Rachael is sooooooo hot! Did I mention she can sing her ass off?!
Anyone have the set list?
Lollll
tesla > Edison...
Rachael Price is hot.
