This man earns millions but every single starting GK of the top 5 leagues is better than him. His decision-making takes way too long for a professional GK. Thats where most of his mistakes come from.
When he saves a shot it seems almost more like down to luck than anything.

I'm beyond annoyed that he's been brought to United for 50M, kicking out one of the top world class GKs, the Premier League Golden Glove 2022-23 Winner David De Gea. Why doing such a move, when goalkeeper's position wasn't even a priority?? This is nothing but a form of incompetence by ETH.
Why he's always a starter? In my opinion that's because ETH has no guts to admit he was wrong about letting DDG go, so he stubbornly uses this clown hoping of a miracle, I guess, so he can say "See? He's a good GK, I told ya."
Well, one must be blind not to see that Onana is a total shyte as a GK.
How he even managed to get a professional contracts?? I've seen a better GKs at sunday league matches ffs.

To be fair he probably wasn’t even scouted as ten hag just wanted him given their history. So he’s to blame.
He made his greatest season in Inter Milan, also Guardiola said Onana was very important for Inter Milan to start the actions from behind, because he's very precise passing the ball. The question is another, what happens to players when they arrive to Manchester United? If you build a team with a strong defence and the right style to play, Onana can be very good, also if he's not so good to save.

No. He's only good on the ball. And whenever he makes a save, it always goes back into the danger zone, making it really easy for strikers to tap-in or get the rebound off.
