Little Arvin hardstyle is under the hard dance umbrella not EDM. Edm is a separate branch of electronic music than hardstyle. Yes it is electronic dance music but it is considered hard dance.

Ik reageer nooit onder wat dan ook van TH-cam, maar jezus wat doe je dit goed Willem. Dit is een comment waard haha. Over elk stukje in je vlog is nagedacht en alles klopt. Zonder te overdrijven / liegen.. Ik ken geen betere vlogger als jij man. Je bent op het moment een van m'n grootste inspiratie bronnen en filmpjes als deze blijven me alleen maar meer motiveren om te doen wat ik leuk vind, muziek maken. Mijn droom buiten de status, genres, het feit dat je muziek moet verkopen en dansbaar moet zijn is toch echt om ooit de energie en positiviteit van jou mee te maken tijdens het produceren. I gotta admit... For me hardstyle was a huge thing from like 2006-2010, and i was pretty mad when you left the scene. I listened to hardstyle every single day for hours, when i was depressed, when i was happy, when i was mad. Did not matter, hardstyle always worked. Tracks like "A new day" "Scrap attack" Project one "Fantasy or reality" those are tracks that will forever get me in a nostalgic mode and i love old hardstyle so much, so many memories i can tear up listening to those tracks. But i understand now that i was just being selfish for being mad, and ofcourse you should produce whatever music you like, the one that comes from within. "If these were the last beats of my heart, i would dance to them"

Het feit dat je nu nog deze vlogs maakt toont alleen maar hoe creatief je bent man.. Je vertelt echt "letterlijk" een "verhaal" in elke vlog dat je doet, je brengt zoveel inspirerende woorden naar boven, in combinatie met zoveel leuke momenten uit je leven.. Ik heb echt vet hard respect voor je man. Ik zal met de droom in gedachten blijven om ooit samen eens met jou in een Vlog te mogen zitten, haha. K'kijk al uit naar de volgende man!!
I nearly cried when Project One started, HHZ is the one who introduced me to hardstyle back in 2011, seeing only HHZ live playing hardstyle was a dream.. But Project One, i thought i would never ever witness that. Only sad part about Qlimax was finding out Heady Wildstylez and Psyko Punkz were dancing next to me just a few meters away ;-;

I know you are not going to read this comment, but you are the reason I started listening to hardstyle Heady. A friend of mine had your name Headhunterz as its username and showed me some of your songs. Rock Civilization and Dragonborn became my instant favorites. Up to this day, I still listen to these songs and they still give me goosebumps. Your music literally saved me from making an end to it all. I was depressed and got bullied a lot in school. I found comfort in your music. When I noticed you had stepped away from Hardstyle, I had a hard time finding (hardstyle) music that gave me the same feeling as your music did. But at that precious moment, when you made your comeback to hardstyle, I was crying my eyes out. I was so happy! All these happy thoughts instantly came back and I felt the adrenaline rush through my body. Headhunterz, Willem, Thank you for your music! And thank you for letting me feel how much music can mean to a person! You and your music have made my life so much better :)
Likewise, those two songs, even i regard them as the best of heady's Hardstyle of all time

What I love about this is it shows that he has grown as a artist. I love seeing artists who explore what they can do. While yes, he stepped away from hardstyle, yes many people frowned on it, but it sounded like Heady was burnt out. He has run out of ideas and was not enjoying himself. He switched and soon came to realize what he was missing out on in Hardstyle. I can promise you, we will see much more of heady in the future. It seems he has found what he was looking for and the fire with-in him has been relit.

I must have to say this I am a huge fan of you "Headhunterz" and I respect all your decisions (I have to, if i really like you) but I am very sad you leave the HardStyle scene: you have sooooo much potencial. But I also believe who have potencial will procude great and nice songs independently of the music style. I was one of the ones who tatued in my arm your podcast name "Hard with Style" and... the show was really well delivered to Audiofreq (he is such another super powered Hardstyle DJ that i love) but...still disapointed you leave the scene. But the important thing is that you follow your instincts, fell well with what you are doing and be happy most of all. Don't quit mostly from who you are and of course i hope you can back to Hardstyle scene again one day. And don't produce EDM shity stuff please (nice one by the way)!!

Hardstyle is a powerfull music, it changes lifes, it changed mines for sure, it is changing mine everyday, why you quit from making someone happy and changing someone life and making someone cry from emotions from adrenaline just to make people dance or to make money? Yes Headhunterz i thinked that you and many hardstyle Djs where meant to make us better, to change us and we trusted u, that you will make our lives better with your music and you quit. Remember how you started all of this shit and hardstyle was so powerfull that made you who you are today. If you are a Legend you should made another person great as hardstyle made you, or many people not just one. Yes hardstyle made me a better person for sure.

As a hardstyle lover I understand why he stop making it. I mean, listen to his words, he run out ot motivation, of originality, of histories to tell.... and everything for an artist. Exploring new paths meant new ideas, new things to achieve, new feelings to be rediscovered... You know, find yourself again. And looks like he had done it ;)

+Brad That's bullshit. Headhunterz is the Skrillex of Hardstyle. If he truly wanted to, he can go back to the roots of the genre, simply because he has the support to do so. As he converted to the House community, he gained fans from that genre and lost his original fans. His House fans probably doubles in size than his Hardstyle fans.
You see, I beginning to think it's not whether it's a production issue for him, because trust me, he sure as hell can make Hardstyle if he wanted to, but it's rather a money issue. What would he gain for going back to an underground genre? Is it worth it? Is it profitable? So on.

Btw. that thing about making music, im the same way with web app development. Its not a job but a form of art that we make. Your art is music, mine is programming. Whatever we make in whatever form it's still art, not for money or fame but just a hobby, like van gogh with his paintings.
