I really hope we finally get Mr Sinister as a main villain and a lot more Apocalypse and Sentinels!
Mr. Sinister is perfect to start with...its time to pay off all those end credit scenes leading up to Nathaniel Essex

Perfect for Psyclops. He’s a great actor. He has, as an actor, this kind of intensity that James Marsden or Tye Sheridan don’t intrinsically have, that will demand he doesn’t get sidelined and be the Psyclops that fans of Psyclops have been wanting.
Ryan Gosling would be a great casting for Richard Rider, but if there is someone else, then that's cool too. I'd also think it would be great to see a version of Sam Alexander. I'm not too familiar with the pick for Cyclops, but he seems to have the look. Especially if Sadie Sink is being cast as Jean Grey.
He looks like a real live version of Scott Summers. Good cast!

Harris Dickinson is a good actor for Cyclops. He’s one of my top picks alongside Wolfgang Novogratz and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
My other roles for him to potentially play are Havok, Angel and Gambit.
However, if Sadie Sink does end up playing Jean, then it should be Jack Champion playing Cyclops. Speaking of Jean, I think either Ella Purnell or Daisy Edgar-Jones could play her next to Dickinson’s Scott Summers.

Personally I wonder if it would work if we somehow are just in the middle of an X-man story.
I like the story in Mutant Empire (trilogy of books), I think it would be amusing if the mutants come back somehow and we join the X-men in between missions. I don't think it would work in cinema's but it's a fun thought.
They are returning to earth (team 1 with cyclops and Jean), the Shi'ar are a thing and oh btw Magneto is invading New York with Sentinels in which the X-men at home (Team 2 - Storm) heads out to investigate.
The "Exposition" of filling the audience in could take on a pseudo "previously on" like in the 90's cartoon....which is just flash backs to other movies that would help explain the scenario (Nova Core - Shi'ar, Tony Stark suit around the world, fast cut of Monica and Ms. Marvel "mutant moments")

Casting aside, I wish they would actually move the bare minimum for CGI. Either put the MONEY into it, and revolutionize it somehow. It’s way past time, and we just need something that doesn’t look cheap anymore.

I don’t know but getting a clue from the rumored casting for Jean and Cyclops, you would think they’re targeting a MUCH YOUNGER actress for the rest of the X-Men. The only people that can be older in the franchise are Charles, Magneto and Wolverine. The rest of the core X-Men should be closer in age as they should.

That’s not Drax’s daughter in Annihilation. It’s a girl he met on Earth in one of the prequel series. Drax’s daughter in the comics is Moondragon. I always get the feeling that MCU TH-camrs get their info from Wikipedia, and never touch a comic. But whatever. It doesn’t take much to regurgitate other peoples “scoops”.

2. The characters of Professor X & Magneto are inspired & based off of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. & Malcolm X. Kevin Feige already said that they're looking at people of color to play Professor X & Will Smith.
3. Channing Tatum is definitely skilled enough as an actor to play Cyclops & Jessica Chastain is definitely a skilled enough actress to play Jean Grey. They are not too old, in The MCU they could make so where, The Mutant Gene allows people with it to age gracefully/slower. That's why people like Professor X & Magneto who are senior citizens don't have Alzheimer's or anything like that.

Harris is the right guy. Scott…in the comics…is called “Slim” by Wolverine. He’s got that physical type. He also has that hero quality in a more subtle way over that Glen Powell d-baggy way. I like it. Much stronger than Jack Champion. Jodie Turner-Smith as Storm. She wowed me in the Agency series. Tall, goddess like. Her African accent is great. She carries herself like Ororo.
She's way too old. If she were 28.
I don’t think every member of this X-Men team should all be children…students. Some can be older teacher / mentor age. Brings a more familial bond over a bunch of Gen z brats seeking Xavier’s approval.

Jodie Turner Smith needs to play Storm. She's tall, gorgeous, commanding on screen presence, she's everything you'd be looking for in a Storm. It's looks like they are going for a younger team and Jodie would be a little older than the other casting choices but I think for her that would be good, as you'd want at least one member to be a little older and wiser on the team

The only possible problem i can see if they cast Harris Dickinson is that he be 30 when they started filming the movie if they’re going to want them to be around teenagers when they start the Mutant Saga. If they are doing that makes sense why they were eyeing Jack Champion for the role he is around Sadie Sink age. But regardless im sure they will pick the right actor for that role. Not saying he is too old for the role just doesn’t fit with they were saying around how they are planning to bring the X-Men.
ayo edibiri - never thought of her as storm. i'd be fine with it, she is a phenomenal actor. my only issue is that she doesnt quite have the statuesque facial features that i associate with storm. michaela coel would have been a perfect visual representation, probably not as talented as ayo though

Judging by the casting of Sink for Jean Grey, I would assume they are going for young adult or even high school age for the cast, and I think Dickenson looks just a little too old for that. If anything, he looks just a little too old to be with Sink's Grey. I think Champion would be okay. Personally not super sold on any of the casting rumors so far

Where they're messing up with the comic movies, in my opinion of course, is trying to keep continuity with actors and Easter eggs. If they did straight from the comic reamaginations, they can just tell particular stories really well and comic accurate. I wouldn't care if they had diff actors every couple of folks. Just put the book on screen and quit complicating things.

Hm, I could live with Harris as Cyclops. I would like to see a narrower age gap between Cyclops and Jean though. Jack Champion fits for that, but I don't think he has the right look. I wish Cameron Monaghan from Shameless was younger, because I think he has the perfect look for the role.
