Why should people change their mindset from not liking to be photographed for various reasons, to agreeing with him. It’s legal to videotape people in public, but just because you CAN do something, it doesn’t mean you should. Anyone can act this way toward the general public, but very few of us do.

Now imagine this. You have a business in a Main Street. You want people to come to your store to give you business to make money to pay your rent and your employees. You have someone take a video of your store for who knows what but your first thought is to act a fool throw in that it’s your business. It’s free publicity. Me personally I saw a business on one of these videos and I went online found their website and placed an order. @@COTTFLIXLike any city with a population over 500k, it has good parts and bad parts. Overall Wisconsin has very nice and caring people, and Madison has a lot of cool shops and historic buildings to see. There are also plenty of people and places you want to avoid in that city as well lol

I love the marine's attitude. He got a bit mad, realised he'd overreacted, then was man enough to admit his error and have a nice exchange, before acknowledging the importance of defending the constitution, allowing both parties to leave on a positive and in agreement.

Great point, although his first response was a bit ill-disposed, he didn't get locked into escalation the way candy store guy did, he displayed a lot more flexibility and the ability to pivot based on the shifting dynamics of the exchange. If he was a combat vet, this skill probably served him well.

One of the my biggest fascinations from these videos is that people will just walk up to you and make laws up. They'll just assert that such-and-such is illegal and it is totally baseless but they believe it so much that they'll call the police about it. Even though, on some level, they must know that they're just making it up. It is really interesting to me.
They are just following the example set by their democratic leaders.
Government is doing the same thing to them, so maybe they feel turnabout is fair play

THE MOST interesting aspect of these videos is the social psychological.
Here's how copyrights work, you can copy someone's work all you want. The moment you try to sell that copy and make money, THAT is when you violate the copyright of the copyright owner. Taking a picture of something is and of itself not a copyright violation.
It has nothing to do with copyright..a copyrightdoes not protect names, slogans etc...the store name is a trademark and falls under different

My impression from this video was that the overal vibes were pretty good, considering Jason and Ben walked around for 5 hours. Only 1 hysterical shop employee, one confused veteran and one shopkeeper adjusting to a new culture. All of the public seemed really chill!
