Video Slideshow on Gold Line Station Construction

SacRT has completed construction on Gold Line station platforms to get ready for service of new low-floor light rail vehicles. SacRT began construction in February 2023 and completed construction in June 2024. SacRT is continuing testing of the new low-floor trains, which are expected to be in service on the Gold and Green lines later this summer.
SacRT will begin work on modifying the station platforms on the Blue Line this fall. Learn more about the project at sacrt.com/modernization
