Get ready for the big parade.
Join us for the sixth and final episode of this series on Tall Ships in Stavanger 2018.
See these majestic wonders glide in front of your eyes, right there on your screen. I recommend a very large screen in fact. These images are intended for the big screen.
Thank you for watching and we will see you in the next one.
Thank you for a good series, i was out in my boat further out, so it was great to get the view from land as they left.
And thank you for a good comment ! It has certainly been a hectic weekend. I think we used more than 50 hours on this series, spread out over these 4 days. We are already planning the next thing to show...

Outstanding set of videos of this fabulous event! It is just like being there, and we were! I have yet to edit my vids, and will upload one arrivals and one departure vids in due time. I have a slightly different aspect to yours. Again, well done!
Thank you very much for the nice ocmments. It will be nice to see your when you are ready to share. This event can really not be covered enough, so let me know when I can watch. Have a great week !
Dear City Walker - you have brought so much joy, happiness and admiration with this series, both at this side ànd the other side of the ocean ♥ Every day we looked forward to yet another view of this big event, and you took us there - only the smells and tastes were lacking. On behalf of us all: Tuuuuuusen takk!
By the way: Where were you situated during filming? On the steps of konserthuset??
Hello friend! We moved back and forth on both sides of the steps you mention. Since there was a lot of people there, we had many problems, continuously. Childre screaming, sunlight wrong, people talking, wrong angles etc etc...Also, since there was an enormous fleet of small boats present we continuoulsy had to run from one extreme of the area to the other, just to get a clean image. And to make the images BIG, we also needed to continuously change distance to the ships...As you will see from the other videos on channel, we like big imagery and try to emulate this with some of our video'sOur video on Hillevågsvannet, Christmas Lights and other video's under the 'Event' playlist, all try to give you an enhanced view of something that is common. These video's is best seen on a large screen and with sound turned up a bit.We are not pro's, but one day we might make something special, with the proper amount of experience, and the correct subject.Thank you very much for your kind words, encouragement and we will take it with us on our next projects. We will see you in the next one !
Well, I must say you guys did an excellent job in avoiding all the 'obstacles' you mention, because the whole video comes over as a very relaxed up-close view, no more and no less! My compliments :-) Any plans to cover 'Blink', and 'Lysebotn Opp' on Thursday?
In this video a 70' yacht look like small boats
And you should have felt how small we felt. Some of these ships are really big. We hope to be able to record more of these soon ! Have a great holiday and stay safe !
Where does the music come from? Do they play a theme song on an onboard speaker as they drift in?
Well, the russian ship had speakers blasting the music all over the area when it was leaving.
When the crew was waving their hats, the speakers must have been on maximum, we heard then after they left our vieww. Thank you very much for watching and welcome back to our channel for more :-)
@@CityWalkerProductions yeah, I got one in my recommended and now I've gone on a long tangent about sailing. 🤣
It's fascinating and I'd love to participate one day
@@gormauslander You can actually. Many of these ships have their own webpages, Some of them have the possibility for you to register and come with them and learn sailing. Here, as an example, look at the page of Sailing Ship: Sørlandet: www.fullriggeren.no/
