80 oil in the shocks with tuned springs you can get on ebay and a little tightening of the springs your suspension won't bounce and truck will handle better. You might already know but small plastic washers will get rid of most of the slop. You also have punch and brake settings on esc you can mess with too. Also changing your front and rear diff oils will change things. Thicker in the front and thinner in the back for handling and thicker in the rear for more rear. A good starting point is 500 center 50 front and 30 rear some people will go up or down from there depending the temperature outside and their driving styles. A 4s will always be better on the track so throw a 4s in at the track and throw a 6s in it to bash. I've seen a couple of 6s tweeked out for handling leave a 4s in the dust on the track so it can be done but 4s is plenty and no big mods really needed out of the box with 8s or 6s motor. RELEASE THE KRATON..LOL
Hi mate I've put 1250kv motor with max 5 esc in my 6s kraton after modifying my differentials to take the power it's great fun. Million centre differential oil and the only tyres to stay together are pro line MX. Great video mate 👍🦘😁
I think 8s system makes it way to heavy you loose actually jump height and traction. I run surpass hobby 4092 1650 KV with stock system plenty more powerful without weight on 6s

Run a higher KV motor. 1650-2050kv 14-20t pinion adjusting for the KV.

@@traxrc motors are $60-100 on a 6s truck usually. Otherwise id say you need to gear that motor up

I mean technically it is more weight but it’s also more power so idk unless I drive a stock 6S
I have the same setup 23t pinion mine is uncontrollable I don't even attempt to run it on 8s
