I'm not an Indian neither Bollywood films are shown in theaters in my country. My idea of Bollywood was limited to SRK, Akshay and some prominent names. Thanks to 5ocial and few others like Tried & Refused Production, I have known a new side of B town. It's unfortunate that so many talents are not getting the respect and attention they deserve. There is a big algorithm working behind this, is called "influencing". You will recognise the actors more of whom you keep seeing the pictures / videos everywhere on the social media. They keep star kids in lime light so people always see them around the bollywood and when they (star kids) appear in the movies, people start liking them. But you rarely see real talented actors in lime light. Coz you are not going to research and manually search them on internet to know their lifestyle & surroundings. But social media keep showing you every small activity of star kids so they just stay in top of the fame.

Hello... Shubham this side. I have following this channel since quite a long time now. And I loved the content u always come up with. Inspite of sincere follower I never commented on any of ur videos. Everytime I wish to write something as a feedback but somehow I didn't. But today I couldn't hold on. Because the way you narrate the struggle and efforts of all these best deserving actors and actresses really touched me. Like everyone others I also like classic cult out of the box kind of movies to watch. But somehow per I never went on watching them. I really appreciate ur efforts to summarise how Indian audience never accepted all these powerful performers as a leading cast in any of bollywood movies. Everyone wants only masala movies, dance, catchy songs, pretty faces and that's it. Though I never watch such movies but I didn't watch cult movies as much either. But I'll start watching and supporting the real talent. Bollywood remained just a word for me after SSR case. For me especially after the Chaos of SSR death case movies have become something else. Real talent should be supported and celebrated as well. Thank you so much for sharing this. One another thing I want to add here that this female narrative voice is what makes us watch the video till the last second. Voice is so sweet and the way it connects with audience is simply love. I personally want to see much more valuable content from this channel. Most people who visit cinema now have to go to multiplexes where the tickets are very expensive. A family of 3 spends well over Rs,1000 including the customary popcorn. So they are selective and watch only grand, big budget movies which usually have stars or star kids, glamour and lavish sets. It is a 'paisa vasool' attitude. The wonderful actors you mentioned are for the most part in small budget movies or web series which end up on OTT platform where they do get support and appreciation. I believe the growing popularity of OTT is a boon for these 'outsider' actors and many are now using it as a stepping stone for their careers till they get the recognition they deserve.

Just that since they are paying a lot for tickets, they want grand scale entertainment when it comes to the big screen.Movies like Bahubali or Padmavat are more suited for the big screen. A movie like Ugly or Raman Raghav does not need a big screen to be appreciated. OTT works fine for them.
