All I can say is you are the best I have seen in the past few years, at what you do ( To represent General Motors and the C-8 Corvette and this is coming from an old soldier that's spent 24 years in the |Military and yes has been all over the world ...even Canada. Great video. I plan to do a 5VM style in carbon flash. I saw the acs composites front set up but the side ones aren't out and I am waiting to see if the side 5VM skirt requires the hole drilling. I want to do the 5VM style set up before either doing new wheels or wheel spacers on the oem spectra grays.

It sounded like you said "BVS rims."? For the record they are Blaque Diamond BD-F25 wheels. They currently come in 20" and 22" but will be coming out with a 19" this summer, which is great for people who want a stock diameter 20/19 setup, which I personally thinks looks most tasteful on the C8. Just lower the stock coilovers 3/4" and it's perfect.
@@timharris3832 Of course not. If you have Z51 or mag ride (or both) the car comes from the factory with adjustable coilovers, so they come from the factory with the ability to be lowered.
I'm telling you, you should do the same spec as this red mist except with yellow brakes, stitching and belts is a great combo. I agree, too much red doesn't work. You need a contrast accent color and yellow was it for me. My build status is 3300 and so hoping I'll be able take some pics of that combo when I finally get it!

No, just no. 21" is on the borderline of too large on this car... 22" pushes it over the edge and is totally unnecessary. There's a point where you go beyond a balanced tasteful look and get into ghetto mobile wagon wheels, that look dumb and hurt performance. Heck why not throw 30's on there! Obviously larger diameter is better, right?!

It's lowered on coilovers with light-weight, deep-dish $6k forged 3-piece "360-Forged Mesh 8" wheels (From their competition line) that are 20x12.5 rear wearing steam roller 345/25/20's and 285's in front.. It's definitely not ghetto. It's only +1 sizing from stock in the rear, in terms of diameter. For a set of street wheels & tires 20's are ok on a C6Z. Anything bigger starts to get distasteful. It's a fine line, really. It also depends on the quality of the wheels, the offset, and if the wheel has either concavity or an old-school deep dish for the overall stance of the vehicle, which the wheels do perfectly for the car.
