The E-flite® A-10 Thunderbolt II Twin 64mm EDF jet remains the best performing and easiest to fly high-performance model of the iconic U.S. Air Force aircraft that served with distinction in operations Desert Storm, Desert Fox, Enduring Freedom and others. The 6S compatible power system of this updated and upgraded model features an exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Dual Smart ESC that combines with the AR637TA receiver in the BNF® Basic version to provide real-time telemetry data - plus optional-use thrust reversing for shorter rollouts after landing - along with the advantages of AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. Functional features include LED navigation lights, operational flaps, twin rudders, and electric retracts with shock-absorbing struts. There’s also a more durable, metal-geared nose gear steering servo that makes it more practical to fly from manicured grass and other rough surfaces. It’s a superb scale replica and a Smarter “Hog” that offers an unmatched flying experience for a wide variety of pilots!
Exclusive Technologies
This high-performance A-10 Thunderbolt II model is equipped with both exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch, making this the easiest to fly A-10 yet! And if you don't want to enable the SAFE Select features, simply bind the receiver normally and only AS3X will be active.

Have you seen the news lately by chance? Inflation along with other component, material, labor -- and especially shipping -- costs are way up resulting in higher prices on pretty much everything. We wish it wasn't necessary to raise prices as a result, but if we don't, then we can't offer this or other products at all because we'd be losing money on them.

@@butchohare8951 It's about 15% more than it used to be a year ago. In fact, nearly every popular model in the market from top manufacturers has also gone up 15% in the last 6 months...or will in the next 6 months. Expecting to pay the same today when it costs 15+% more to produce and ship products now compared to 6 months ago is ludicrous ;)

I love the A-10
As cool as it is (and it's absolut cooooool), i'd like to see some umx in the future. Some WW2 or even WW1 planes. Quality of those 2s umx was always outstanding. And the size is so great to go for weathering and detailing.
It's not a warbird, but our next E-flite announcement/release will be a 2S and 3S compatible UMX model ;)

So basically new telemetry receiver and esc's (w/ thrust reverse)? Nice. The new prices across the board. Not so nice. I want the ForceRC days to come back again when I bought a brand new Sonny Boy P-51 for $125 BNF.

@@HorizonHobbyProducts Cool about the servo. We all know why prices are up, but we're all still going to yearn for days past. Seriously though, you guys should bring back the ForceRC brand, and raise those prices too. Like an Aire-batix for $179 (what the valiant used to sell at). It would fill that price tier segment now that you've shifted Eflite up a notch.
@@HorizonHobbyProducts stop making excuses and price according to aircraft size. Maybe less tech needs to be offered? $430 for this tiny airplane is robbery and I’ve been a loyal customer for years, I will never buy an RC aircraft at this price. It’s made of foam.
@@butchohare8951 You won't, but millions of others will (and do)! There's a reason foam aircraft outsell wood aircraft by many times these days...and why sales of foam models continue to increase while they continue to decrease for wood models.

Dammit....now I got to get rid of my old one in order to purchase this new one.
My radar piece on the right side nose fell off of mine, guess it was not glued on very well. Any chance I can get another one without having to order a whole fuse??? I will add I have enjoyed this jet very much!
We're checking to see if the pave penny pod (and the gun!) can be offered separate from the fuselage in the future!
@@HorizonHobbyProducts bring back 1.2m warbirds. I love that series. Maybe a p38 in 1.2m. Also a Corsair with 3 blade prop. I will come up with more. Those are just some ideas!

This is NOT a park flyer haha! It is intended and only recommended to be flown at an RC flying or other suitable (large!) field!

I would buy one if HR brings back phone customer service. Untill then they won't get any of my hard earned money.
In order to reduce wait times and provide better service we now offer the live chat function on our web site. Start with that so they can get you to the right person, then ask them to call you...you won't be waiting on hold for hours on end AND will be talking to the right person who is most likely to be able to provide the best support!

Yeah this price is an absolute joke should be more near $200 MAYBE
@@butchohare8951 The original version was $379.99 and was one of our best-sellers...perhaps you don't understand what things actually cost to produce (this model costs considerably more than $200 to produce and land in our warehouse!) and the value they actually command in the market while many other people do ;)
@@HorizonHobbyProducts You don’t have to inform us. Even back in 2019 before the inflation, $200 would not be sufficient enough to pay for the design, materials, molding, and labor. This model is worth much more than $200 to me anyway.
