Thx Nanelle, I try to transfer some money into my savings every month. A friend introduced me to the susu thing but I opted out because I was sceptical a bit
I agree with you, if you want something, motivate yourself by watching those who have already done it, before I came to the UK I literally knew 'everything' because of watching your videos ,I had picture in my mind of life in UK and worked on making that a reality. Thanks Nanelle❤
It (saving together as a group) is called a "Pardner" in Jamaica (Susu in other places). I was told by a British Jamaican that HMRC may have an issue with it. However, the BBC recently did a story on it and sold it as something cultural (as it is- its black culture) and relevant in these times and there was nothing mentioned that suggested it wasn't legal.
It’s called Ajo. I’m addicted to it. I used to be in series and different Ajo groups. It leaves you under a lot of pressure but it’s very very rewarding and a good way to save and have bulk money when it’s your turn to collect.
The contribution thing was frowned at by my mortgage advisor. In her words, she said you can't prove the whole money is yours. She said if I was to continue, I will need the bank statement of all the members of the contribution. She advised I stopped the contribution at least 3 months before approaching the bank.
You can pay for mortgage deposit even with monetary gifts as long as you can prove it . I know a couple that got half of their deposit from wedding gifts
Thanks Nanelle, the company i use for utility has a referral system where i refer customers to them and i get paid commission monthly. Just wantedvto ask if it's safe for my visa and hope it won't affect ILR later. Thanks

Do the UK nursing recruitment agencies recruit to Belfast from African countries or do you have to start off from England and then move to Belfast . It's much cheaper for housing costs in Belfast then in England
Thanks alot for this wonderful advice. But the esusu own does it have any legal backing Incase one person defaults because this is what some people do here in Nigeria.
Thanks Nanelle, for this great inspiration . Please kindly clarify, do I have to have an ILR to get a house in UK? If no, please kindly specify how you achieved this without it.
You don’t have to be a citizen of a country before you can own a home there unless the country states otherwise. Politicians buy houses in different countries yet they are not citizens of those countries. Get your deposits ready and contact your bank/real estate agent for help with buying properties.
Want to ask you a question if you anyone here knows the answer please kindly reply. Can someone on teir 2 visa in the UK wed with UK citizen (girlfriend) and can change your statues?
@@DavePickston that’s not entirely true if you have a spouse to share bills with and live in a low cost area you can save 1K even if you make only 2k a month with discipline

Congratulations Nanelle. I am trying to reach you. I did the self-sponsored route you spoke about, I did the OSCE and got the NMC PIN, was quite seamless. I am currently trying to get a job, kindly help please.

Interesting, it's called "Susu" in Ghana. There isn't much difference at all.😄
