I'm building an F5 right now. Navigating the forum and documentation has been a lot of fun. Grateful for all of your time and effort.

A couple of great tips. The Google search tip was very interesting. It probably applies to most forum searches. Also, the advice about adding pictures is good also. I rarely read any of those very long posts.
I'm a pre-newbie. I haven't bought a kit yet but am very interested in starting this. I want a kit because I don't know where to find all the parts individually.

Jim - as someone who is a newbie trying to build the ACA I would say that for someone's first build the instructions need to be very close to instructions for a Leggo build! Thats because I think people who know about electronics forget how many technical terms and jargon is used in even instructions for newbies. There are only so many times that a person will do time consuming Google searches looking for non-technical explanations of technical terms and jargon before the project is completely abandoned in frustration. The forum is also very clunky, obscure and frustrating to use to get non technical answers to questions. I am willing to bet that only a very small percentage of the thousands of ACA kits sold will ever be built to completion and used in a home stereo system because of the degree of difficulty. People who have built F5's, Honey Badgers etc etc etc! will understandably find this incredulous I know. None of the above is meant to criticise the ACA build instructions because I think they are fantastic. But that's not to say they cannot be improved in some areas to ensure that more ACA's make it into operation as intended.
