Although you can type exceptions using jsdoc, it's not used besides showing it as a hint. That makes it so nobody uses @throws, and the TS team won't implement the check because they see the low usage of @throws as evidence that nobody wants that feature. (sorry. still bitter about that)
Has anyone on the syntax podcast used the Encore framework? It's a typescript and go framework that is semi batteries included framework. Seems like it could be a performant and scalable backend framework that uses rust for runtime type safety and multithreading. It would be interesting to get the creators on the podcast and talking about the framework, or just hear your thoughts about it.

why would you ever use tsx in production? It's so much slower.
tsconfig support (mainly path aliases) is what i need, so i'm sticking with tsx for now. subpath imports are hideous and terrible and need to change.

Found encore few weeks ago, didn't tried it out. Looking forward to learn more
