I did a 54" and bouncing them poles was crazy hard! You can kind of see it at minute 1:50ish when she eyeballs the camera man insinuating "we need to cut scene". I had to jump off some steps like Jimmy Superfly Snooka to slam them together all the way.
I installed everything and the net will not adjust up and down for height as well the backboard is angled instead of straight. For the life of me I can't tell why.
I believe she installed the re-enforcement bracket backwards (starts at 11:12 on the video). I had the same wobbly rim so I turned the bracket the other way and it solved the problem.
Installing the system like it is shown voids the warranty. The ground sleeve needs to be installed with the lower portion inserted so that you can check the plumb of the pole assy. Then you take the bottom pole out and bounce them all together.. leaving the sleeve on the bottom as you bounce the pole pieces together will instantly fracture the sleeve. (Here is where the error happens in this video). The pole MUST be filled with concrete from the bottom to just below the adjustment hardware in the upper section once all three sections are bounced together.. Install manual clearly states in bold type and in a warning box that not filling with concrete will void the warranty. Just a warning to anyone installing this backboard system...

It doesn't lock into place when trying to set the height above 8ft, unless you push the metal flap down with your hand.
Sounds like the bolts might be assembled a little to tight on the lower elevator arms.

Beat them apart with a hammer... That's what I had to do.

You know how you put the pole thingie on that box thingie theres kind of like this cross thing and you put water or sand in it
Yes, the rim does move around a little bit and can come loose over time. You can use blue lock tight from a hardware store to help if its a problem.

The rim is not balanced. The tip is facing downward. Anyone have this problem?

You simply push up on the bottom of the backboard and every six inches it locks in place.

NO !!! You can slam but the follow through hanging will damage a number of things.
