I am mostly scared of forgetting the course... i live in Norway and we always have courses on like 13 jumps and sometimes we have to jump the same jump twice and i always forget the course my trainer gives me (almost) and that IS the main reason why i don’t want to show
After Christmas will be my new horse's first show season, we do hunters he's a really good horse but I have bad luck at shows, my last horse went psycho at a horse show and also in the hacks he fell in a hole and almost rolled on me
He was also pretty bad in lessons but I loved him and thought he would get better but I ended up stopping riding him, I tried riding him on Wednesday he bucked me off which is normal but o didn't get back on which wasn't

I'm so nervous for my first horse show. I never wanted to do shows because I already have extremely bad panic attacks and anxiety so I already knew it wouldnt be a good idea but I just started cantering and jumping and it's like this small little walk trot show that I would go to but it still gets my heart racing. I really didn't want to do about it but everybody at my barn and my trainer was like no you need to go like you should totally go so I was really pressurized in it. Plus I really over think things so I'll be in the middle of the ring and I'll just like start panicking so I'm really hoping I can control it. And to add on to it Im riding a horse I havent ridden in years and I only have one lesson on him before the show. And he's a huge horse and I'm used to ponies so it's like even more stress. Like I really want to do it and alot of my family are coming and alot of barn people are coming to see me and it's so nerve wracking. This helped me though! I really hope if turns out well and I think the biggest thing is I just don't want to fail in front of everybody. Especially my trainer and my barn is all about winning and they are all super intense. So I feel if I fail then they are totally just going to be disappointed in me and so are my family.

I need help. My name is .. MAYA! and I am doing my first competition. It’s not a difficult one but it’s a big one and I’m really nervous. Any tips to get over it?
There isn't a video on TH-cam all about what to wear at a show that atually includes what boots to wear. So I have no idea if I'm allowed to wear leather ankle boots with leather chaps/gaiters. I also don't know if there is any diffrence between chaps and gaiters or if there is any diffrence between real riding boots and Chelsea boots. Also I have just brought some new riding boots that are from loveson they are real leather look nice but I don't know if they are going to be as good as my old boots as they had grip in the bottom but these ones just have almost like a completely flat bottom does this make a diffrence?? Also will it matter if in the show ring yoy have brown boots with black chaps ??? I'm sorry for all these questions but if you could eirther answer them for me or make a video on some of my questions that would be amazing. I'm knew to your channel have been working on a yard for a while and riding but only now looking for a loan horse but would like to know where is the best places to look for loan horses and how to know if they are good for you. Becasue I want a horse I can progress with now just do hacking and the sort of thing. I want to do schooling and then possibly do show jumping ones I get better and get used to mu new loan horse. Btw I love your German shepherd pup and your horse is gorgouse!!!! Thank yoy soo much for taking the time to read my really long message 😂😂 and hope to hear from you soon but if you don't have time to reply or answer all my questions I understand I did just ask like a lot of questions. So tomorrow (November 24) is my first horse show on my new horse. This isn’t my first first horse show. This is my first show in a very long time and I’m panicking because I’m on my period too so 😬 I know this video was made a while ago but I’m just hoping if you have any tips for showing on my period :)
